First day on the job

It was Taylor's first day working at Empire she had traveled all the way from Vegas to Delaware to go spend the summer working with her uncle Joe. Hey Joe she said walking into the back room of the records store with two large suitcases. Taylor you made it! He says happily listen you are going to love it here I promise. I hope so where should I put these she says suitcases still in clutch. Don't worry about those I'll have Lucas bring them upstairs for you. Upstairs? I thought I was staying with you at your apartment. Well you see Jane and I moved in together and it's kinda crowded with just the two of us so you'll be shacking up with Lucas. Ugh great she said sarcastically. Well anyways no one is here yet Lucas will be here soon followed along by Debra, Berko, Gina and then Mark or something like that he said. So she made herself a cup of coffee and caught up with Joe. Greetings Lucas says while coming in the doorway, how are you doing Taylor I like the hair looking very good lately how long has it been since we've seen each other a two years three? Actually Lucas it's only been a year since we last spoke. Remember on the strip. Joe interjects "lets not get into it". Well you look good did I mention you look good. Yes you did a couple times if I remember correctly. I spy a poser if my eyes are working properly says Deb barging in. Deb be nice says Joe Deb this is Taylor, Taylor, Deb Hey nice to meet you says Taylor. Wish I could say the same Deb says and then walks off. Well she hates me, she hates everyone Lucas says she'll warm up to you eventually just stay away from Berko. Who's staying away from me says Berko coming in from the back. Berko is stopped in his tracks for a moment when he notices Taylor. Hey you must be Joes nephew right? Yep she says well you are very beautiful. Taylor is taken a back thank you? She says. Anyways who is supposed to stay away from me. Well I was just about to tell Taylor all about your and Debras wonderful history so that she does not cross paths in a bad way with good ol Deb. I already told you man a million times me and Deb are over she says I could see whoever I wanted. And I'm not gonna lie I see a pretty girl in front of me I'm gonna take my shot later heads up. Taylor blushes and sinks into her seat. Gina comes in next Mark following behind they are laughing about something but quickly stop when they notice Taylor. Before Gina can say anything Joe comes out of his office and says oh great everyone is here except for Eddy Mark says, Eddie doesn't work today remember anyways now that everyone is here who's would like to to give Taylor the official tour. Berko is the first one with his hand up followed by everyone except Gina. Well then Berko it is follow me said Berko. He started at the register showing her how it worked and all around the cd section and then they moved over to the records corner. This is the area the Eddie is usually in he specializes in vinyls very protective over this corner, good to know said Taylor I will be careful when going over there. Berko then brought her upstairs and showed her the listening section it says 1 per person but Joe is usually very chill about it so don't worry if you see two ppl in there. As long as they aren't... Berko looks her up and down and says well you know. Yea she say last stop the roof top he takes her up there and says now that where finally alone. Taylor interjects and says is this the shuttle hint from before cause if it is I was definitely looking when you came in she say while walking to sit on the bench on the roof. Good to know he says, he walks over to her and sits down and he starts to move in closer just as their about to interject Lucas yells there you are we have customers. Berko looks up using his hand to shade his face from the sun and says there are 5 other people here can't they handle it. No Lucas quickly says while he grads Taylor's hand and brings her downstairs.
