~Tin's POV~
Have you ever waited for that perfect orange hued sky. The almost getting no sleep,to waking up before the sun rise. Those puffy eyes, lazy steps to the beach, the bed hair which doesn't fall into place as much as you try.
Chiming giggles pulled me out of my fixated gaze on the little man before me,trying to drag me along with him.
There was this thing about Can,you would never know what you could expect of him. His weirdest ideas, his impulsive drives. He was like an adventure, which exhilarated me for another day.
The tug on my arm was getting heavier with each stride. Can almost latching onto my arm in a half sleepy state, yet his adamant self still stumbling to walk.
"We could have seen the sunrise from our hotel room, you know", I say, carefully brushing his newly dyed blond hair away from his eyes, while he furiously shook his head in protest, his lips almost puckered-which reminded me of those cute duck plushies.
One thing I couldn't comprehend about Can, was his obsession with experimenting with hair colours on himself. I'd always be left with my mouth hanging low, surprised at all the bold colours he'd choose to dye it.
As much as it irked me coming home to the pungent smell of it,the innocent and the expectant smile he held, while he rushed to show me his new hair would quickly douse all my discomfort.
"Tin! Let's watch it from here", Can declared. Not giving me enough time to process what he meant, and in a second we were both on our butts sitting on wet sand.
"Can!" I cried in annoyance at the sticky feeling,"you could have chosen a better place. Now our pants are soaked."
"It feels like we pissed our pants, doesn't it?", He laughed at his own bad humour, gaining a non-impressed huff from me.
Can was the weirdest, almost too nonchalant about things yet such an innocently sensitive little thing, which made me both want to both protect him and mess him.
My own emotions towards him scared me at times. The questions as to if it was alright to be so much in love with a person and what frightened me the most was I unintentionally hurting him in a way that would mark the end of not only our relationship but in a way of my own being.
"Mister! Stop furrowing your brows at me. I admit the joke was bad", Can plunged his cold fingers on my forehead and gently relaxed my brow with knowing eyes.
I always felt transparent before him,my emotions so naked,or was it just him acting oblivious other times,I never knew.
His eyes flickered at me and somewhere distant.
With a shout,he shook my head to look behind. The sun was finally rising. The envelope of darkness was slowly fading with a hint of light breaking in.
The foamy sea, touching our feet,as if welcoming the new day with us.
The orange hue, slowly penetrating the vast sky, painting the sea with it's colour, almost seeming like a union of two polar souls.
I turned to look at Can,the sunlight making him glow while his face plastered a huge smile, his eyes twinkling with happiness.
"The sky looks like a runny egg yolk when it breaks and spreads across practically everywhere on our white plate. Doesn't it,Tin?" Can said giggling, hooking his arms around mine.
"Real bad attempt at being romantic,Cantaloupe",I teased at his nonsense.
Laughing together my face moved in action on its own towards his lips, seizing the day.
At that moment I realised that Can's impulsive drive to watch the sunrise was like my own Orange Drive, that was him.
The only difference being,it wasn't impulsive, and I would hold on to it until my last breathe.
