" Y/N! Get down here! Angie's here!'' My mom yells. I open the door and run down the stairs. I walk into the kitchen to see my best friend Angie standing there wearing her boyfriend's mickey mouse hoodie. "Angie! I missed you so much!" I say hugging her. "I missed you more!" She said. You brought her up to your room and sat on the black comforter. "Angie I saw this super cute guy on TikTok." I pulled out my phone and went on the app. I showed her a cute guy with the user camlikesrice. "Eww" She says. "Hey! I think hes cute" I say back. "Angie should I dm him?" I ask. "Oh my god YESSS" She yells. "Ok. But first im turning on the music its too fucking quiet in here" I announce to nobody in particular. I grab the TV remote and open SoundCloud and hit shuffle then I go onto instagram and click on his profile. I select the message button and type a few words.

"Angie I did it loooook" I put my phone in her face. She laughs. "Ok girl get yo mans but can we get some damn food because im hungry as fuck!" she says. "Ok Ok sure. Lemme grab my shit." I grab my wallet and stuff it into my hoodie pocket then slip on my vans. The two of us walk down the stairs. "Mom! Were gonna go to jack!" I yell to my mom. "Ok dont do anything stupid!" She yells back. We laugh at her response and head out the door. Its around 4:00 pm so its still pretty bright out. The fast food restaurant was pretty close but I knew she would also wanna get chips. I unlocked my maroon Chevrolet 1963 Impala my dad got me and hooked up to the music. We sang along loudly for about 10 minutes until we got to the drive thru. I got 2 chicken sandwiches and Angie got chicken nuggets. We pulled up to the window so I could pay and then left with our food. "Walmart then Starbucks or Starbucks then Walmart?" I ask "Walmart then Starbucks" She answers. I pull into the parking spot with a couple of guys in awe of my car, hop out, and lock it. We walk into the store and the first thing we do is grab a cart and head straight to the energy drinks. I grab 12 bangs. 8 champagne flavoured and 4 Miami cola flavoured. Then we go for the chips. I grab some funyuns, white cheddar popcorn, and goldfish. Angie gets 2 bags of cheddar and sour cream ruffles along with a huge bag of pirates booty. Then we go and get candy. I grab some red vines, a bag of marshmallows, a box of graham crackers, and a 12 pack of chocolate. Angie got like 4 bags of sweet tart ropes and a milkyway bar. Now we go and do some actual grocery shopping. We also grab a mini fridge for my room. I grabbed a big bag of charcoal, some yogurt, and eggs. Now we go and get some face masks and leave. We brought the cart out to my car and a guy walks up to me. "Ay is this your car?" the man asks. "Yeah shes mine, why?" I respond. "Ay guys this little hyna knows how to drive an impala!" He shouts to nobody that I could see. I was annoyed that he called me a hyna. "Angie can you put all the shit in the car please" I ask and throw her the keys to unlock my car. She nods and i walk back over to the man. "Ok pendejo, first of all im not a hyna and second what makes you think i cant drive it. Now me and my friend are going home so can you and your little putos move so we can back out" I turn around annoyed. He starts swearing at me in spanish but I just get in the car and blast the song Boyz n the Hood by Eazy-E. I back out and flip the dude off then drive off towards Starbucks. Right before I turn off the car. The music stops meaning I got a notification. I pull the key out and check my phone.

"Angie remember how I dmed that guy from tiktok?" I ask her. She nods. "He answered!" I squeak. "Oh my god thats amazing!" She squeaks back. we get out of the car and go into the Starbucks. I ask for a mango dragonfruit refresher and Angie gets a java chip. The barista calls our names so we grab the drinks and head home. We pull into the driveway at around 6:00 pm. Its still pretty bright out so we bring the mini fridge into my room first. Before bringing it in however I noticed my moms car wasnt in the driveway. "Wonder where my mom is" I say aloud. We bring the mini fridge up to my room and while I plug it in Angie goes and gets more of the bags and sits them in the kitchen. I walk down to lock the car and see a note on the table.

Y/N, I went to your aunts house for the week because she broke 8 of her ribs. Ill let you know if I stay longer.

"Angie!" I yell. "My mom will be gone for a week maybe longer so wanna stay for a bit?" I ask her. "HELL YEAH!!" She yells. We go and bring the rest of the food into my room and sit on the bed. I open my phone so I can respond to Cam
