A few days later, Penny sneaks out of the house to investigate the ball pit more, and finds her dad unconscious
(but living) inside of it.
She tries to get him out but just then, Night Sandy attacks, revealing itself as an organic creature and unhinging its jaw to bite Penny.
Penny gets him to accidentally hang itself on a rope over the ball pit, killing it.
Penny and her dad
(who has no memory of the event)
go home, with everything ending on a normal note.
