"Well we could put Brandon and Callie in charge." Lena said.
Brandon and Callie looked at each other. Alone in the house for a night? They could easily get rid of Jude and the twins for a few hours.
"Are you guys sure you can handle it?" Asked Steff.
"Yes. Totally. Go have fun." All the kids wanted their moms out for just one night.
"Well okay. We're going on a baby moon!"
Then the dishes were done and Brandon went to the garage to practice with the band and unfortunately, get him into the worst predicament of his life. (Other than selling fake ids and getting beat to a pulp.)
-----------
Mariana watched the dance girls from her locker.
"No way! That top is totally cute!" Mariana was about to go join them when Matt grabbed her shoulder.
"Hey!" She squirmed.
"Are you going to be at home to night?" Matt asked, letting go of her shoulder.
"Unfortunately. Yes"
"Well, it should be fun." He looked down at her.
"Wait what?" Mariana was confused. Why was Matt going to be at her house tonight?
"Brandon didn't tell you?" She shook her head. "Well, he's having some people over to hear the band."
"No way we're having a party?" Mariana squealed.
"I guess I'll see you tonight." Matt walked off.
Mariana practically flew to the dance girls.
"Hey ladies." She said.
"Oh. Hey Mariana." The girls reluctantly greeted her.
"Hey party at my house tonight. You in?" The girls looked at each other.
"Okay. We'll spread the word." They flipped their hair and left Mariana wondering her place with the dance girls.
------------
Callie and Wyatt were sitting at their usual lunch table. Wyatt was the only one who knew about her and Brandon and gladly pretended to date Callie for their sake. Callie pulled out a picture of Sophia and slid it to Wyatt.
"Is this you? Cute."
"No it's my half sister. She wants to meet me."
"Woah. Have you told Jude?"
Callie was about to reply when she heard Kaitlin, the dance captain.
"Change of plans. Party at Mariana's." Callie and Wyatt looked at each other.
"Hey. Excuse me, where did you hear Mariana was having a party?" Callie asked.
"From her." Then she left because she had better things to do than to talk to some random girl and her boyfriend.
----------------
"A party!" Callie was fuming. "Where did you get the idea we could have a party?"
"Don't look at me." Mariana said. "I heard about it from Matt."
"Brandon!" Callie was so angry she could of scared a gang.
Brandon came down the stairs and fell onto the couch.
"Yes." No matter what Callie never scared him.
"Your throwing a party?"
"So?"
"Moms left me in charge-"
"No," Brandon interrupted her, "they left us in charge. I say lets party."
"We're having a party!?!" Jesus came in from practice.
"NO!" Callie yelled.
"Look you guys it's our baby moon too." Mariana was trying to reason with Callie. "That means moms are not going away. EVER."
"I agree with Mariana."
"Fine. You have your party in the back yard. No one can come inside." Callie said, "Jude and I are going to follow the rules. Right buddy?"
Jude nodded. Then Callie dragged him up the stairs with one hand and her cell phone in the other.
"Who are you calling?"
"Wyatt. He's gonna help us keep people out of the house."
"Okay. Can I invite Maddie? You know, to help?"
"Sure."
Then Jude happily ran to call his friend and Callie called her bouncer.
-------------
"So we're keeping people out?" Wyatt asked as they pushed a love seat to block the entry way.
"Yeah." Callie ducked under the taped sign she made.
"Hey Callie. Can we talk?" Brandon came inside.
"Can't you see we're a little busy?"
"Oh come on. Just a minute. Then you can go back to whatever it is your doing."
"Fine you've got three minutes."
Brandon led Callie up to his room.
"What's up?" She asked.
"Are we cool?" She looked up at him. "Like this party doesn't effect us at all right?"
"It's just a party." She whispered.
"I know, it's just we can't hang out."
"So? I'm still gonna get to hear you play. Now let's pretend we had a huge argument and I'm gonna call you an ass."
"Okay." He said. Then he kissed her, because no one was around to stop him. Then he had to go pretend to be her brother. Which sucked.
-------------
"Woah. When did you become such a prick?" Brandon winked at Callie.
"When did you become such an ass?" She slightly smiled and then pushed him out the door.
"I've never seen you act like his sister." Wyatt pulled her into a hug, "good acting.
Most of the party was a blur for all the kids. Jude hung out with Maddie and her friend, Jesus made out with Haley, Brandon and Matt waited for Lu, and Callie and Wyatt kept everyone out of the house. Then things got a little harder. Conner showed up, resulting in Conner's dad showing up, Mariana had to babysit Kaitlin all night, Jesus's make out sesh was no longer a make out sesh, Lu bailed, and about twenty couples were in the house in search of someplace to make out.
-------------
"Brandon! People are in the house!" Callie was mad.
"What am I supposed to do?"
"Play! That's what they're all here for right?"
Then Callie went to deal with other things. By then the crowed was getting restless.
"Come on, play something!"
"Dude do you sing?" Matt didn't want any bad publicity for the band.
"Yes, but I only know one song."
"Play we'll follow you."
Brandon started playing and singing. The band was able to pick up on the song pretty easily and everyone in the house came out to listen. Then a almost miracle happened. Lu had come up on stage and was singing with Brandon.
-----------------
The band did their whole set and everyone started to clear out. When everyone was gone except for some guys hanging out on the swing, the kids finally could breathe.
"See, we won't get caught." Brandon was reassuring everyone of this when Callie's phone rang.
"I wouldn't be so sure."
"Hey moms." They all were talking into the phone.
"How is everyone?" Lena was asking.
"Good we had pizza for dinner and now we're watching a movie." Said Jude matter of factly.
"What movie? It's not some shoot em' up is it?"
"Ugh, Fast and Furious the fast and the furious." Mariana fumbled out.
"Okay? We'll Be home tomorrow."
"Bye!"
They hung up the phone and sighed.
"That was close." Jesus said.
Then the boys on the swing rammed it into the window and completely shattered it.
"That's it. No more parties." Said Brandon.
