"Ugh why'd I even bother paying for this clock. It's so damn annoying" you groaned as you rubbed your eyes.

The time was 7:02 am
School starts at 8:00.

It's been 2 weeks since Y/n and her mom arrived at Tokyo. Your mom had to move to the states for her work and decided to bring you along. You were only 3 years old.
Your brother and dad had been staying in Japan the whole time. But finally you guys are reunited.

You took your time getting out of bed.
You went to your closet and put the plain looking uniform on.

It looked like one of those sailor moon school outfits, but instead it was short sleeved.
The skirt was shorter than usual, and you decided to pair it off with black knee high socks.

You took out your braids from last night.
Your (h/c) hair was now curly and voluminous.

The school doesn't allow jewelry/accessories. You couldn't bare to take off your necklace so you tuck it underneath the uniform.

You looked at yourself in the mirror.
In the states you get to wear whatever you want, so you weren't used to this type of style.

"Do I really have to wear this!? What if the wind just so happens to blow my skirt and I flash everyone.." you pouted.

"Hurry up Y/n! I hope your not taking your time. My classes start earlier than you ya know!" A voice said breaking your train of thought.

You went downstairs and saw Satoshi (brother) standing with his car keys.

Your parents were in the kitchen.

Satoshi took one glance at you and was holding his laughter. He never seen you in an outfit like that before.

You rolled your eyes.

"Can't I just wear my own clothes.. there's too much layers to this uniform."

He sighed, "Its the symbol of youth, you need to embrace your culture more Y/n"

"Eh..Symbol of Youth?
Where'd you get all that info from, Google?" You laughed.

"No.. I got it from Wikipedia.." he looked away.

You chuckled as you sat down on the chair.
Fluffy pancakes were on the table for you and Satoshi, made by your mom.

[10 mins later]

You finally got your things pack and headed out the door along with Satoshi.

Satoshi is a student majoring in biology. He's 21 years old.

"Bye mom, Bye dad!" You shouted before closing the door.
"Bye Y/n enjoy your first day!" They said in unison.

The two of you got in the car and started driving away. It was silent. You looked out the window and played with the neckalace you had around your neck.

Satoshi seemed to have noticed and sighed.
"Sooo, did you and cousin Tomiko make plans to hangout for the day?"

"Yes! I can't wait to see her. It's been years since we last hung out." You grinned
Satoshi smiled, he was glad he could make his sister happy. Even if she can be a pain all the time..

You guys finally made your way through the entrance. You took your bag and opened the door.
"Hey don't forget to tell Tomiko I said hi!" Satoshi said.
You gave him a thumbs up.
"Don't worry, I will. Love you big bro !" You teased.

Satoshi blushed and looked away.
"You can't just say things like that out in the open" he mumbled.

He's always been embarrassed when his family members say personal things out loud.
Y/n already knew he hates it, but continues to do it anyway.

You closed the door and the car pulled away.

You sighed. Hopefully this year will be better than last year.

"Alright Nekoma, here I come!"
