Chapter 3: Midnight Massacre part 1

Edwin was currently trying to calm a migraine. After hearing of Oboro's second failure he was debating how to punish her for her failure.

Oboro: Please give me another chance sir.

Edwin: Tell me why I should allow you another chance to fail. Wasn't it enough to be bested by this Guyver twice.

Oboro looked down in shame. She was thwarted not once but twice by the same adversary.

Edwin: Be thankful Ingrid was able to capture the ordeal on servalince.

He then picked up a remote and played back the battle.

Ingrid: Such an impressive display. He would've been a great asset if he wasn't hunting for you sir.

Edwin: Indeed. Which is why we shall plan our next move carefully.

Elsewhere:

Y/n was currently working out at one of the gyms. He was currently lifting weights. Just as he was finishing up his cellphone rang.

Y/n: Hello?

Asagi: Hey Y/n it's Asagi.

Y/n: Oh. It's good to hear from you Asagi.

Asagi: Same, I was just checking on you.

Y/n laughed a bit at hearing her say that.

Y/n: Thanks but I'm doing well.

Asagi: That's great to hear.

Asagi then became nervous

Asagi: Hey Y/n I was wondering if you want to hang out.

Y/n: Sure I don't see why not. I'm almost done at the gym.

Asagi: That's great.

After that the two hung up. However for Asagi her sister was eavesdropping on her. Y/n on the other hand was on his guard. After what happened the other day.

Time skip:

Y/n was walking to his apartment after his time at the gym. As he was walking he noticed he was being followed. He made a turn to an alleyway and soon stopped in the middle where no one could see him or the person following him. He then turned to see who it was. And to his surprise it was Sakura.

Y/n: Sakura? What are you doing following me.

Sakura: Just making sure your not doing anything sketchy.

Y/n: Then you have nothing to worry about. I was only heading home.

Sakura: Then you don't mind if I walk with you then.

Y/n sighed and knew to tell her no would result in an argument. The two then walked to his apartment complex. As they walked Y/n had told Sakura that Asagi wanted to hangout and that you were only heading home to freshen up. Sakura only found amusement because it sounded as though the two were going out on a date.

Sakura: Say Y/n, how do you feel about Asagi?

Y/n: Well she's a kind enough person.

Sakura smiled at hearing that. Even though she enjoys messing with Asagi she cares about her greatly.

They had made it to the apartment and to Sakura's surprise it was well kept. A bit small but not a bad place to call home.

Y/n: I'm going to take a quick shower. So if you want you can watch t.v.

Sakura: No problem.

Y/n then left Sakura by herself. Once he was in the bathroom Sakura began to snoop around the apartment. She looked throughout the apartment for anything odd. The only thing that stood out was an unmarked book. But before she could examine the book she heard his phone go off. She went to see who was calling.
