Tea Please .

Chapter one: Jobs.

-----PART ONE OF CHAPTER ONE-----

I walked into work, thinking it was just another boring, usual day. I was really getting sick of this supermarket, I mean, the employees are rude, I dont get a good pay and its really no fun. Im just excited to get out of here in a month and a half. College finishes soon and then my real career begins, or so I hope. Its really an exciting month, with all the exams and stuff. But when I finished up for the day, and as I was about to walk out my boss stopped me.

"Chris ?" He said

"Yes mr. Baker?" I asked

"I think you should take some time off"

"Okay, how long, a week or something ?"

" No, more like a month and a half"

"You do realise i'm moving in a month and a half, right ?"

"Yes, so that technically means you're fired. Goodbye!"

Woah, wasn't expecting that... So looks like i'm in the search for a job! I stayed up until 2 looking for a job, when I had classes at six. I didn't find one, but it was getting late so I decided to go to bed.

The next day on my way to classes I walked a different route, for a change of scenery when I saw a poster posted on the bulletin board. It was a short-term job at a Wendy's . They only need someone for a month. I can do that! I used to work at DQ. I can do it. I pulled out my phone and called the number .

" Hello ! I am applying for the job. " I said.

" Oh hello, what is your name ?" They replied.

They went on asking me questions and I ended up getting the job. I start next tuesday. Oh I better get to class
