A few days later, Grimauld place became as loud as ever. Everyone was running around packing last minute items, getting dressed, and eating. The portrait of Ivy's grandmother was screaming, awoken by the noise. Nobody, how ever had bothered to close the curtains just yet, as she was barely heard over the noise anyways. When Ivy was done, she went out with Remus and Sirius, (as Snuffles of course). Sirius ran around outside, chasing birds and embracing the warm sun. Ivy laughed at this, only just realizing how long it had been since he had last been outside.

At last everyone was packed and ready, and they set out on foot to kings cross. Ivy had to admit this was hard to go about getting there without attracting a few sideways glances, as they were a large and unusual looking group. At last they reached kings cross. They had to go into groups of two or three to avoid being noticed by muggles. While loading her cart, Ivy ran into Delaney, One of Ivy's roommates, and Dennis. "Hi Siri-" said Dennis, who was cut off by Ivy. Sirius gave a shocked look "Don't worry" she whispered to Sirius, "We can trust them" She went into platform 9 3/4 with Sirius and Delaney. "Don't worry, I promise I will write to you." She said. Not looking at Sirius, all though speaking to him out of the corner of her mouth.

As they were finding a compartment, they ran into Marie. "Hey guys, oh yeah, I got your letter, I just was busy so I didn't reply." Delaney turned around and spotted a group of girls, including the last roommate Ivy had, Aaron, and turned to the rest of the group "I'm going to their compartment" they all waved to her and watched as she walked away.

Eventually they found a compartment and sat down. As the train started pulling out of the station she waved to everyone as it started to leave. Ivy laughed as Sirius started chasing the train until Remus stopped him.

"Ok, I want to know everything about you guys, I think we should no longer keep any secrets from each other" Dennis said, although his face was red from embarrassment. Ivy told them everything about the latkys, Meeting Sirius, and about the things that happened in her first year. She told them she had been living with Sirius all summer, but hadn't told them exactly where he was hiding. "Ummm, my parents are both muggles" Dennis said timidly "me and my brother are both wizards, and my grandfather died this summer" he finished. "I'm sorry Dennis." Ivy said sympathetically. "Ok" Marie said. "My mum died when I was a baby. I don't know why, but my dad is a muggle, and he's over protective of me and almost didn't let me come to hogwarts when I got the letter." They continued talking. Until the trolley came by. They bought a few chocolate frogs, some pumpkin juice, and a box of berty botts every flavour beans. They spent the rest of the time laughing at the reactions of one another when somebody got a bad flavour.

Sometime later, they changed into their robes, just as the magnificent hogwarts castle came into view.
