I show Elena another image of Katerina and Rose refusing to help Katerina.
"How are you doing that?"
"M-a-g-i-c, magic!" I told Elena sarcastically.
"Rose never ended up taking Katerina back to Klaus, did she?"
"No. If she had her way Katerina would've been sacrificed to Klaus."

Elena gasped in fear touching her neck. "She killed herself?"
"Of course she did. As a vampire she was no use to Klaus, but he still blamed her for not sacrificing herself."
Elena looked petrified she kept fidgeting from side to side.
"I'm gonna give you the same choice, that Katerina would've done for you, if she was still here."
I slit my wrist so that Elena could make her choice. Although it's a waste of time. I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt. Elena looks at me like I lost my mind.
She looks away, then she looks back and watches as I heal.

"Well, I already knew you don't want to be a vampire, but then why stay with Stefan?" I asked curious.
Elena looks at me offended.
"I'm serious, why be with Stefan if you're not gonna be with him forever as a vampire. Do you think your relationship will last as a human, because the answer is no. If anything it'll end in heartbreak."
Elena looks away in thought. Then she looks back at me.
"Rose and Trever spent the last 500 years running because Katerina used them. Trever died."
