My first instinct was too run out of the black room. I threw my door open leading into my body being knocked over by a much more lanky one.
"Sorry" I heard a voice mumble, somehow through the chatters of the other people confused in the lobby. He reached his hand out for me, I think. I grabbed what I thought was his hand, but was actually a table cloth. I pulled at it, leading to many glass objects crashing to the ground.
"Oops?"
I heard a deep chuckle, coming from the same man I crashed into. I tried to literally curl into a ball of embarrassment but collided into the tall man once again. My weight was rested on my arms and elbows that layed beside his face while my legs were spread apart over his. My hair was in my face as I blushed, thanking god he couldn't see it. Just then the lights flickered on.
"I quite like this position." He said chucking as I removed myself from his tall figure.
"What might your name be?"
"Eloise" I mumbled. "Eloise Abrams"
"That names a bit too long, don't ya think?" He smirked. "I'm going to call you.....Ella. Or El."
"Or Eloise." I stated, getting annoyed at his cocky attitude.
He brushed his jeans off, including the huge holes in the knees.
"Nice jeans."
"What, did you get that from your joke book, doll."
"What joke bo-." I stopped realizing that the joke book from earlier was in my hand. My cheeks were flushed with embarrassment. I scoffed, crossing my hands over my chest.
"Well, I best be going now I suppose. Don't miss me."
"I barely even know you." I replied, placing a piece of hair behind my head.
"Oh, but I plan on getting to know you doll." He said, stepping closer to me until our noses were barely touching.
"Very well." He winked.
He was walking towards the lobby's elevator stopping to turn around.
"Oh and by the way," He started.
"Nice underwear." And with that he walked into the elevator, winking at me one last time before disappearing.
Oh my.
