Chapter 1 Meet Up & Mall Trip
Beatrice's POV:
"Wake up Beatrice!" Yelled my mom."You're going to be late if you don't get up!"
I immeadiatly shot up, and ran to the bathroom to brush my teeth and do my hair. It had been a long time since I had gone to see Melissa and Evangeline, I couldn't have been more excited. I was going to be there for a whole week with them! I ran back to my bedroom and picked out a simple outfit composed of uggs, skinny jeans, a cute tee shirt, and of course my favorite hat.
After I finished getting ready, I ran down the stairs and into the kitchen. I ate a quick breakfast, composed of cereal with milk. I dumped my bowl and spoon in the sink when I was done. I ran out to the car, my bags were already packed and in the trunk. I was so excited I had to remind myself to start the car to make it move.
I texted Melissa, 'Hey! Will be there in a few hours!' 'See ya then!' She replied.
A few hours later...
I pulled up outside Melissa's house. Before I could even get out of the car I was greeted by Melissa. "Ohmygosh, you're actually here!" Melissa exclaimed opening the door so I could get out. "Of course I am!" I replied hugging her once I was out of the car.
Melissa's POV:
I dragged Bea's suitcase into the livingroom, "Dang, what do you have in here?" She smiled bashfully, "Stuff." "Pshh, just stuff," I asked setting the suitcase down. "Yesh," she said sitting down on a couch. I walked over sat down next to her. My butt vibrated.
Well it was techinically my phone. I reached into my back pocket and pulled out my phone. 'Is Tris here yet?' Asked Gennie. 'YUS!!!!' I replied. 'Okayy, be there in 2 mins', Gennie said, I could feel her excitement even though she wasn't here with me.
"Want something to drink?" I asked Bea going to the kitchen. "I'll have a Fanta," said Bea trailing behind me. I opened the fridge and pulled out three Fantas. I handed one to Bea and opened mine. I set Gennie's to-be Fanta on the dining table.
Within seconds I heard a pounding on the door. "That must be Gennie," I said going up to get the door. I opened the door and was tackled by an excited Gennie.
Evangaline's POV:
"I missed you!" Yelled Meme hugging me. "We haven't seen each other in like one day, how much can you miss me?" I asked her laughing a little. She hugged me tighter, "A lot!" I backed out of the hug and saw Tris awkwardly standing back sipping her Fanta.
I hadn't seen Tris in forever and she was so different now. I ran over and gave her a hug, "I missed you! You've grown up so much since the last time I saw you!" "So have you!" Tris said back hugging me. "Group hug!" Yelled Melissa diving in. "I... can't... breathe..." Said Tris. "Oops," said Meme letting us get some air. Meme ran to the table and came back presenting me with a Fanta. "Thanks love," I replied with a smile. "No prob Gennie," said Meme.
We all sat down on the couch, we didn't know what to do so we all went up Meme's bedroom. We listened to music and danced around like retarded birds that couldn't fly. "There's a party on Saturday," I said turning down the music. "What time is it?" Asked Tris. "Around 8 o'clock," I replied checking my phone. "Cool," said Tris as I slid my phone back into my pocket. "Saturday?! Today's Friday! You shoulda told me earlier," said Meme going to her closet and rummaging through to find a dress. "I have nothing to wear! I'm gonna die!" She yelled panicking. "How 'bout we just go shopping?" Asked Tris. "Great idea," said Meme, "I'll get the car keys!" I smiled at how easily Tris was able to control the situation. Meme just loved to be melodramatic...
"C'mon guys!" Yelled Meme, "we don't have all night!" I shook my head in a silent laugh, "We're coming!" Tris and I came down the stairs to a bored Meme tapping her foot. "Finally!" She exclaimed. I snickered, she stuck her tongue out at me. "Okay, let's go." Said Tris. We walked out the door but Meme last so she could lock the door.
Melissa's POV:
"I hear your heart beat to the beat of the drums!" The radio sang out, instantly we began singing along. "Oh what a shame that you came here with someone! So while you're here in my arms, let's make the most of the night like we're gonna die young!" I'm pretty sure I was off key but I didn't care. I thrummed my fingers against the steering wheel to the beat. "How much longer," complained Bea from the back seat. "Five minutes," I said smiling like an idiot, it was so fun having my friends with me like this.
We finally arrived at the mall parking lot. "There," said Gennie pointing to an empty car space. We were about to park before another car took it. "Damn," I cursed. "Like seriously bro! That was our spot," said Bea. "Whatever," said Gennie, "let's just find another spot!" It took another five minutes to find a spot but it was closer to the mall than the spot that the other car had taken from us.
"Okay, so you don't know any of the stores here," asked Gennie pointing to the selection of stores of the huge mall map. Bea shook her head. Me and Gennie exchanged evil smiles. "C'mon Beatrice, we're gonna go shopping," I yelled dragging her to the closet Forever 21.
Beatrice's POV:
As soon as we got to Forever 21 I understood Lissie's and Evie's evil smiles. My jaw dropped, it was the most amazing store I had ever seen! I stood there, frozen, in the entrance, trying to take in the awesomeness of the store. (I grew up in a small town with absolutly no stores or malls like this.)
"Come on!" They urged, pushing me through the doors. "Hey!" I said as I pushed playfully back at them. Evie immeadiatly grabbed my arm and pulled me over to the closest racks, taking dresses, and shoving me into a fitting room. We all tried on lots of dresses and danced around each other in the fitting rooms, singing to every song that played on the store's speakers.
"How about this one?" I asked Lissie. She smiled, "It brings out your eyes and, look what I found!" She presented me with matching heels. "Mhmm, girl, this dress was made for you!" She exclaimed as she saw me twirl in the dress with the heels on. We giggled like little girls. "What do you think of this dress?" Asked Evie walking in. "It looks nice, but it doesn't fit you." Said Lissie. I nodded, "It's cute but not your style." "I agree," said Evie looking in the mirror. Evie left to try on another dress while me and Lissie contemplated on what dress and pair of heels to buy.
Before we knew it two hours had passed! We had already picked our favorite dresses, but Evie wanted to get her dress from Hollister. Lissie and I paid for our dresses and rushed out the doors following Evie. We still had three hours before the mall closed and we spent every minute in Hollister with Evie as she picked out her favorite dresses and tried them on. Even though Lissie and I had already got our dresses, we tried some on for fun.
"Now that, is your dress." Said Lissie watching Evie twirl in a dress that was black with white polka dots. "Yeah," I agreed, "that was so made for you!" Evie blushed, "Ya think?" "I know," said Lissie and I in unison, hugging Evie. "Okay," said Evie straightening her dress, "I think I'll buy this one." Lissie and I left the room so Evie could change. Finally Evie bought her dress with a pair of white heels and we walked out of the mall.
As we walked out to the car I exclaimed, "That was the most funnerest thing in the entire world!" Lissie and Evie laughed at me playfully. Then Evie said, "I knew you would love it!" "Well, duh!" I replied, the biggest smile adorned on my face. "I wish we could do this all the time!" exclaimed Lissie. "Yeah," I agreed, "I know."
With that we reached the car, climbed in, and headed back to Lissie's house.
