Shoto walked down the corridor, the light Birchwood floor cold on his bare feet as well as the stone walls making the wide space cooler then it already was. The male sighed as he turned his head to see many painting and portraits on the tall walls beside him. Some were of vast beautiful green and mountain filled landscapes that cannot be found in human territory any longer, others were of the past king's of Queens and king's of the humans. Shoto stopped in his placed once he saw a portrait of a white haired female, her stormy grey eyes calming as well and we warm smile. At the bottom of the oak wood frame surrounding the portrait was a name engraved into it. 'Rei Todoroki' it read, Shoto mother. The one who harmed him, burned him with boiling water on the left side of his face. He didn't blame her nor hate her for it thou, she had to leave when he was only a child becuase she went somewhat insane becuase of his father.
Not wanting to be reminded of the memories of the past any longer, Shoto continued his walk down the seemingly endless corridor. Thou, that didn't stop memories of his childhood to surface. Images of him and his siblings running down these very halls filled his mind against his will. He didn't fully mind thou, he found it strangely calming in a sense.
After walking for another few minutes the male stopped, as he had reached his destination. A large archway that opened out into a vast garden —full of different smells, trees, flowers and a few small animals here and there— was before him. Shoto smiled and he entered the opened, yet inclosed, area. The grass felt amazing on his bear feet, it being soft yet ferm.
A sudden strong burst of cold wind hit his face, causing his red and white hair to block his vision slightly. He didn't bother to adjust his hair once the wide had died down into a calming breeze. Shoto took a deep breath of the sweet air, unlike inside the castle walls, the air out here was sweet and clean —not that the air wasn't clean in the castle—. Walking down a faded dirt path, the dual teen took in the space around himself. He was forbidden from leaving the castle walls, so this was the closet thing he got the seeing the outside, other then the view from his bedroom window.
The male approached a large oak tree, stopping in place and letting out a sad sigh before sitting down, his back resting again the trunk. The male closed his eyes, even thou Shoto was wearing a mid-thin leather vest as well as an thin undershirt, he was still able to feel the rough dark on his back. Not that he minded. The male teen was to focused on the feeling of the dark on his back that he didn't hear the sound of approaching footsteps.
"Oh, younger master Shoto. There you are." A sweet voice said suddenly, making the dual haired teen to jumped slightly —thou it was hardly noticeable—. The teen opened his eyes to see a black haired female standing before him —who wasn't much older then himself—, her hands behind her back. She wore a light grey vest with a prue white undershirt. Along with a pair of dark brown pants and knee high light-ish brown boots. A sword hung by her side, Her hair was tide back in a high ponytail, her dark grey eyes calm yet stern.
"Momo...I take it that you were looking for me?" Shoto asked. Momo Yaoyorozu was a trusted servant and the dual teens bodyguard —not that he really needed one since he never was in danger—, as well and his only friend. The female cleared her throat before saying. "Yes, Indeed I was. Your father has demanded your presence in the throne room at once. He said it isn't optional that it's extremely important." Her voice held a strong tone, thou the sweetness in it didn't fully leave.
Shoto groaned and rested his head against the oak wood tree trunk. "Tell my dear father that I am busy and have no time to listen to his bothersome voice complaint about something." He responded with no regret in what he had said. He truly hated his father and he was perfectly open about it. "And I told you to call me Shoto. 'Young master Shoto' sounds weird and it doesn't suit me. And we are friends, so please, skip the formalities." He added.
