The beggar

She strokes sorrowfully day and night
Trying to make her life situation right
Struggling to find some food to bite
Very tedious cause its mostly through a fight

She ambitiously dreams of wearing a crown
Or maybe cladding in a beautiful gown
She looks at her situation it weighs her down
And leaves her little face wearing a frown

She moves from car to car with glowing hope
From house to house carrying a mop
Has lice and mice with life trying to cope
So as not to tie on her neck a rope

She sits by the sides in the streets of Asia
Some know it's obviously not for leisure
The mistaken think she does that out of pleasure
But all she is asking for is at least a measure
