Eternal - A Buffy And Angel Story

Angel snuggled into the covers, but his eyes flew open in distraught when Buffy was not there. He sat up, feeling tears rise up to his eyes.

'Ohmygod, she'sleftmeohGodIcan't Ican't' He thought in a panic.

It was daytime, so he could not go out. He looked around and noticed a small piece of paper on the bedside table. He opened it and sighed in relief. He read it, then put it back down and slept some more, dreaming about Buffy.

Buffy, meanwhile, was training in the library.

"HUH!" Buffy grunted as she kicked the pad Giles was holding, knocking him on his ass.

"Seems the G-man underestimated her, huh?" Xander said amusedly, eating a twinkie.

Buffy helped Giles up and went to speak to her friends.

"So, Buff, been noticing that you've been hanging with Dead-Boy a lot" Xander stated.

"Umm, He's my boyfriend, Xand" Buffy hissed.

"Oh, I know. But he did try to kill you"

Then Willow hit his shoulders. Hard.

When Buffy arrived home, she found Angel sitting on the sofa, in his signature black jeans and silk shirt. He looked half asleep.

"Hi, baby" She said, making him jump.

She took out several red bags. Angel knew the scent. Blood.

"Animal's?" He asked.

"Pig's blood" She leant over and kissed him.

He kissed back, leaning towards her. When they finally pulled away, they gazed into each other's eyes.

"I should probably go put these in the fridge..." Buffy said.

"What? Oh, the pig's blood" He lightly slapped his head "Duh! I'm seriously stupid"

Buffy giggled and kissed him "No, you're not!"

She went into the kitchen, put some bags in the fridge and poured him one. She took it into the living room and gave him it. He looked shy and gestured for her to turn away.

She shook her head and said "Angel, I don't mind. I know you are a sexy, gorgeous creature of the night vampire, and I love you for it. I love everything about you"

Angel smiled and drank from the cup. When he was finished, he licked his crimson stained lips clean.

"I love you" Buffy said, yet again.

"I love you too" Angel smiled, setting down the cup.

Buffy kissed him gently, then whispered "You make everything okay, baby"

And they kissed again.
