This ain't for the best. My reputation's never been worse so, you must like me for me...
Erika Kim was not an art student-that, a certain Stephanie Young knows, but she also knows that the Erika Kim she dates can paint her better than any high-definition camera can snap a picture of her.
Erika Kim was not a psychology student either, but somehow, she knows exactly the right words, the right gestures, and the right answers to that one particular Stephanie Young.
The Erika Kim that Stephanie Young met before she knows she was slowly falling in love with, was someone Stephanie deemed cold and unapproachable. Detached from any emotional feelings and perhaps just another good fuck for that one fateful night.
Somehow, in their journey of life, the two found love in each other.
...
Stephanie tried to shield herself inside her beige-coloured trench coat from the cold evening wind. She was on her way to the back of a dive bar where Erika said she was waiting. This bar in particular, had been a place they frequented ever since Erika decided to move to Los Angeles last four months. Every Friday nights, they would make time to hang out in Golden Gopher, whether it was to unwind or just have a pleasant night with each other.
This evening was no exception. Stephanie was laying in her bed, finally able to rest her body after a long day at work. It was dark in her room, so when a message came through, it lit up a part of the small space within the four walls. A small smile splayed on her face as she saw the sender and the messages she sent.

Where you at?
Come here
You can meet me in the back
I'll wait for you, love
The reason for her smile was that simple last message Erika sent. No matter how many times Stephanie have heard Erika said, or wrote it, it never failed to make her heart flutter. It was always the smallest things that made Stephanie knows that she is really in love with Erika.
After sending her replies, Stephanie immediately went to get ready for her evening plan with Erika.
It took her exactly thirty-minutes to dress up decently, and another fifteen minutes to put a slight makeup on her face. After five minutes of running around her apartment in search for her 'suddenly missing' keys, Stephanie finally found them in the pocket of her workpants.
Twenty minutes down the streets, Stephanie finally arrive at the back of the dive bar and saw her petite girlfriend waiting for her. Dark jeans and her Nikes, Stephanie could not help but gush silently to herself at the sight of her girlfriend. White T-shirt donned with a black cardigan, Erika's simple fashion exudes an inexplicable aura Tiffany could never figure out. Almost enigmatic. All she knows is that her girlfriend is irresistible no matter what outfit she wears.
A smirk appeared on Tiffany's face, thinking of all the fun things they could do for the night.

Three years ago, there was this one big party, held just for the last semester's students in her faculty and Stephanie was one of the students being celebrated. She remembered that it was actually held in a sort of a well-known club around the area. The party was rowdy. Rowdy but fun, according to young and funloving Stephanie.
It was also at that party Stephanie met Erika, whom she called as Miss Anonymous for a whole three weeks until she finally got her name from the mysterious girl. Three weeks of fucking each other's brains out until Erika finally agreed to be her friend, which then eventually led to what they are now.
