Part 9

"beelz" I stood at the counter feet aching from the feast that we had prepared I decided to invite everyone from the surface for lunch since it was a mission to get asmo away from his work I would have thought making Tritan a beta had lifted some weight of his shoulder guess I was wrong that man was a damn workaholic I swear he makes me so mad sometimes it is not even funny.

I stood back and admiring my work at how I had decorated the table "are your 100 percent sure that you were not supposed to become a designer" I laughed at Belphegor comment..."nope definitely not i do not have the patience for it" at this they both chuckled.

Our conversation was short lived when I heard a crash coming from the nursery we raced up the stairs only to see a trail of blood leading to the kids cradles my body went cold as fear dread and pain consumed me, I was too afraid to look into the room for the fear of seeing something wrong with my babies, what if something or someone had hurt them ty growled at that thought , I knew I would hunt whoever it was and rip them apart.  asmo barged in only to sigh I was not sure if it was a sigh of relief or a sigh I worry and that scared me even more.

There on the floor was Stacey's dead body blood leaking from every joint might I had that her limbs were separated from them. with Tritan breathing heavy whilst gripping Athena eyes pitch black growling at asmodeus  my eyes searched for my baby boy only to see him safe and sound in asmo hands

"Tritan please give me my baby girl I need to see if she safe" Tritan growled at first but then realized it was me her mother "your highness please excuse my behavior" I knew his behavior meant something that i did not want to say out loud but only one way to find out. I was a bit nervous and wonder how her father and uncles would react if my suspicions were correct.

The moment I took Athena away from him pain seared across his face at the sound of her wailing "my oh my" lucifer chuckled... Asmo didn't need an explanation and neither did I

I gave Athena back to Tritan only to see her giggle and cuddle closer to him asmo stood tall and walked up to Titus "if she ever sheds a tear, I will tear you apart limb from limb, regenerate you and start the process all over again " which earned him a smack on the head from me " stop behaving like your father in law  or I swear by the moon goddess you will be sleeping on the couch for the next month ". asmo grumbled something about not understanding that it's instinct but my pointed looked shut him up immediately.

Who would have thought a demon and hybrid would be faithed to each other "Hahaha vi history repeats itself" ty was right I guess my daughter has decided to walk in her mums' footsteps I just hope she does not repeat the other mistakes I made, I was scared and worried but now realizing she had more luck than me and had found her mate earlier I was put to ease knowing she would be safe. 

Only after the moment at hand or issue rather I decided to question Tritan as to what, Stacey and he was doing here "your highness the attack against you was planned the shape shifter was poisoned by Stacey to kill you, she believed that you were the reason her mate and it drove her insane so she wanted revenge and wanted you to feel the same pain that she did since she could not go after the prince she decided to hurt Athena knowing it will kill you . After you had announced me beta, I did some digging and found this out I tried to hunt her down but up to no avail. I gave up hope until the scent of vanilla and peach drew to this room, but the smell was mixed with another at, first I thought maybe it was Titas but to my shock I saw Stacy on the verge of killing Athena I had managed to stop and end her but what, shocked me even more was to find out Umm find out that I was mated to Athena"... he was nervous I could tell being mated to Athena knowing her powerful lineage was not going to be easy especially when her father and uncles can be so threatening.

I smiled at the demon and nodded "do join us for dinner oh and Tritan it's mum no more highness" he nodded with a smile on his face. "One more thing thank you for taking your job so seriously and saving my baby i am really proud and overwhelmed by your loyalty to our family  i know that the moon goddess made no mistake in handing my daughter's heart to you, so once again I am trusting you to take care of her and make sure you love and cherish her".

Tritan nodded " you have my word your high-" a quick look from me made him change his wording " I mean mum" I smile and made my way out.

dinner was very eventful after the boys and my father had finished threatening Tritan about hurting Athena in anyway , we decided to have a karaoke who knew beelz had such an amazing voice all in all it was time well spent trinity was to busy keeping an eye on her cousins but making sure mammon did not leave her site eventually she had fallen asleep on him and her mum decided it was okay for him to go spend the night even though max was against but eventually agreed. ammie did not look right but i did not want to pry I knew when she was ready, she would speak to me about it.

after everyone had left I cleaned up and made my way to asmo only to realize he was in his office " babe? it's late why don't you come to bed?" looking at asmo I could tell he was drained he needed a time out and I knew if I did not step in he was going to burn out I mind linked Satan and lucifer asking them if they could do me a Favour and take over asmo's duties for tomorrow so he could rest they agreed to it and said it was the least they could do.

"Okay big guy come on time for bed" asmo protested but eventually gave up. shoving him in the shower I waited under the covers ,  after about ten minutes or so I was greeted with a heavenly sight of my mates shirtless body "like what you see" I chuckled "no chance my love tonight you are sleeping" he made a cute and flopped under the covers next to me pulling me close so my back was pressed against his chest " goodnight my precious" ....I smiled "goodnight my alpha" soft snores and already began to emit from him lulling me to sleep in the process which I welcomed with no fight.
