'Dear Diary,
My name is Garrett. I'm a high school senior whose quite popular among all the ladies, but sadly for them... I'm gay! Fortunately I have the time to keep my relationships at low but quite recently a few friends noticed I wasn't hooking up with any girls or taking them out on dates. Soon a rumor started in our friend group about me being gay, which was always a joke. So what do I do? Get a girlfriend of course! Haha... I'm suffering. She's really nice to me though and I'd hate to just rain on her parade about me being gay. She's very pretty but just, not my type. Her best friend though? Definitely my type, he's quite pretty, almost like a girl. Sadly though he's straight.
:((( School starts today which means I gotta get back into the straight headspace. Of course I don't act like a typical gay stereotype which is quite good because I can hide better. You might be thinking, why don't I just tell anyone? Wellll our school is very VERY catholic and not very friendly towards gays. The teachers hate gays with every bone in their body. Some people know about my sexuality, my sister, my parents, my best friend and I'm very glad to have their support, well my dad isn't very supportive, but the sad thing is all that pride stuff they've bought me has to be in a container under my bed since my girlfriend hangs out with me a lot. She seems cool, like I could tell her but I think I should observe her ideas on the LGBTQ+ community before anything. Anyways I think that's all I have to say for today.

Sincerely, Garrett

I closed my notebook and slid it into the drawer next to me before leaning back in my chair and staring at the ceiling. I took a deep breath before getting up and grabbing my backpack and straightening my collar. I quickly rushed downstairs and grabbed a piece of toast from the counter. As I heard my mom wish me luck I skipped down the stairs, gathering my balance as I hear the bus turn the corner. There, all my friends were waving their hands out the window at me. A bunch of hellos and welcome backs were heard. I quickly ran up the steps of the bus and sat down beside Lia. She smiled at me and rested her head on my shoulder. Oliver turned around his his seat and looked at us.

"Aww, the little love birds are back at school!!" He snickered in mischief.

"Shut up Oliver!! Where's your love bird then hmm?" Lia tossed back.

I just stared out the window of the bus letting them talk, smiling softly at their banter back and forth. We soon drove by a small little house, a pride flag was hung on their porch balcony. Everyone started talking about it. A kid with soft orange hair and a freckled face hugged his books close to him. The only spot open was next to Oliver.

Oliver scooted farther away from him and shook his head. He went back to chatting with us.

"Hii! Your new right? I'm Liana, you can call me Lia." She smiled at the orange haired boy.

"Lia he's gay..." He made a face. The boy looked away and sighed.

That made my blood boil.

"Oliver are you serious?" Lia exclaimed and slapped him.

"Oww, Lia!" He retracted, holding his face and whimpering like little baby. The gay boy smiled a little.

So Lia does support lgbtq... good to know. I thought to myself. I flicked Oliver's forehead.

"Pussy, she only slapped you." I retorted to him.

He opened his mouth to say something but stopped and grumbled.

"What's your name?" Lia looked intrigued by the boy.
