Day 2. The House Inspection.

Author's POV

Her eyes were still closed but she could feel rays of light filtered through the tree branches beaming on her face. She starts moving from side to side to find comfort but is already awake still keeping her eyes shut.

She squints to adjust her eyes to the beaming rays and suddenly realizes that she's still in Felix's room. She looks around for him but he's not there.

*He's probably with others in the dining room* she thinks to herself.

She gets up, and after washing up, heads towards the dining room. The house is so quiet, no living soul except hers.

*Is it that late?!*,
she checks the time and it's only 7am.

'Where did they go?'

'And when?'

'Why so early?'

'Do they have another vicious plan to accomplish?'

So many questions and no answer.

-"Damn it!"‐ she curses to herself as she's doomed to sit and wait, and hope that it's not that big of a mission cuz she can't meddle in their business at least not now when she has neither their trust or some kinda leverage over them.

As she feels her stomach to growl, she approaches the dining table and notices a folded piece of paper. She unfolds the paper which reads:

*Morning, Babygirl!* -smirk appearing on her face. 'Babygirl, huh?'

I prepared Breakfast for You
You were sound asleep, that's why didn't dare to wake you up. You are even cuter Asleep.

Enjoy your Berryfast!

She scoffs not sure what he meant and sighs. 'It must be his turn' she thinks to herself and crumples the piece of paper and throws it away.

-"I always thought he was the creepiest *takes off the napkin and sees what he prepared* Wow, at least he knows what to eat for breakfast "-she says amazed.

French Toast with berries

Fresh Orange Juice

She has always preferred to have something sweet like fruits for dinner rather than high-protein stuff.

And Berries were literally her Favourites!

Ana's POV

I finish observing every single corner of the House, but find NOTHING that gives a clue about their Mafia Job.

So 7 Boys:

Mike.

Clever and Manipulative, sociable enough, and from the things in his room I can tell

You only see what he Allows You To
( I found some secret shelves however empty)

Felix.

Mysterious and Secretive yet Good at Heart. I believe He definitely has a reasonable explanation for joining this gang, and doing what he's doing now.

Everett.

Creepy One. Fantises a lot, seemingly. His room tells he's a sex addict. Red-with-black-shades walls, plus his room is situated where sunlight doesn't reach nearly at all.
The Vampire Type of Room, I'd say with all types of sex toys yet nothing related to his real job - Killing...

Dylan and Sebastian.

They share one room. They even look alike. They must be brothers. Their room is the messiest one. Everything is scattered around: their underwear, socks, hoodies
LITERALLY EVERYTHING.
And they have a big HD TV screen on wall in front of their bed. I notice two remote plays too, apparently they are more into video games.

Alec.

Weird One, yet Intelligent. In his room, everything is arranged and labelled extremely neatly. Plus, labels are in three different languages.
'Why is that?!' Really Weird! Then he has a collection of Rubic's Cube. I even recall him holding one at the dinner table yesterday.

And There's Aiden.

Does he even live here?

No room left. Only Basement... I know NOTHING about him except that He is The Leader. However, I noticed that the door to Basement can only be opened by Him, it has a retina scanner. As far as I know, Retina scanners are used in high-security facilities especially the ones containing nuclear weapons. So... He is surely hiding something...

Then There's No Single Camera.

*Camera!* I should somehow get out of here and bring my mini spy cameras and the stuff. They might be of some use to me. As I can go out from neither the main door nor the back door (cuz they are locked) I decide to climb down through the attic window.

I see there's a tree branching out towards the attic window. However, I am not sure if I jump the closest-to-me branch can handle my weight. But that's my only Shot... so I do it! I jump and with a loud bang I grap the branch but it doesn't seem to hold on too much. As I desperately try to get to the tree trunk, I hear how the branch is about to collapse.

Then I decide to let go. I let go off it and grip onto the lower branch, then safely landing on land. Now I need to get to my secret wooden hut.

I take a taxi for Alec's money (got it while cleaning his room 🙄Ok not cleaning but I didn't steal, I will surely return it).

So I am finally here, My own Place that nobody's aware of!
The Place where sometimes I suffer in silence yet still find solace in...

I unlock the door with the key I took from a tree hollow. When I open the door, to my surprise I see:
