A crimson river gushes out of my prey from the slash aross their side. It trys to scurry away, and after examining the injuries inflicted upon it's tender flesh I decide to play a bit of Cat and Mouse. It gets up and with a god awful limp it trys to hurry away, stumbling all over itself. I shake my head in disappointment. "You'd think you'd be smarter as to bleed less..." As my voice echoes down the dark alley, my prey is now slipping into a complete state of panic. I start my chase, slow and steady, as I am delighted by the sweet aroma of blood.

I whistle to the tune of The Hanging Tree as I grow nearer to my target. I watch the eradic movement of my now begging prey. "P-please...please don't kill me..." It utters out as I am almost on top of it.

"Beg a little louder..."I taunt as i kneel down next to the pitiful excuse for a challenge."It's much more fun if the little ones can hear you..." I whisper coldly into it's ear.

Without hesitating I thrust the knife into an older wound and crank it sideways. A gorgeous blood curdling cry rises straight form the core of anguish. I shiver with delight. "Louder..." I whisper before cutting straight across it's stomach. Internals tear and tangle with each following slice. A glorious symphony of screams echo in my ear before fading into the white noise of the summer breeze.

After about an hour I grow bored of my broken toy. I sigh disappointed in the short length of my play date, and scoop up the heart out of the blood eviscerated carcass. I hum joyfully as I write on the wall with it. Before heading home I peel the punctured flesh off my precious trophy, the skull.
