I threw on my nearest flannel and cuffed jeans before lining my eyes with thick black liner. I had no clue what we were going to be doing today but I was excited to see the Jones family again. (mostly Emily)

I hopped in the car where my mum and brother were sat ready to go. It was only a short drive to their house but it seemed to drag.

When we pulled up, we saw sm6 coming out of the house. I got out the car as mum unstrapped my brother.
"HI Y/N" Ellie shouted from the door.
"HEY ELLIE" I responded smiling and waving. Emily was stood behind her and we smiled at each other. I still had no idea where we were going but I knew it would be fun.

Turns out, sm6 had hired a mini bus that could fit 10 people so that we all had a place to sit. I went to go sit next to Ellie and was about to put my backpack up on the seat next to me when I heard a voice
"hey, um, do you mind if I sit here?" I look up and it's her.
"of course not! No problem!"
She came and sat next to me.

About 10 minutes later, we still hadn't headed off yet, Duane, Yvonne and mum hadn't got in the bus yet. I asked Ellie and Emily if they had any idea where we were going and turns out, they knew as much as me.

Finally, Duane came onto the bus and cleared his thoat
"hello there kids, I'm sure you are wondering where we are taking you, we'll, I'm a out to tell you!" everyone looked around excitedly
"we're going camping!"
The bus erupted into cheering and Yvonne came on and said
"ladies and gentlemen, the volume inside of this bus, is ASTRONOMICAL! it is WAY to loud in here!" (I'm sorry I just had to, ok back to the story now lol)

George, being the sensible one, put his hand in the air and said,
"but what about our stuff?" my mum came on and said,
"well, we already thought about that, we found some of the bare essentials that you need and packed them for you all"
Everyone nodded.
"LET'S GET ON THE ROADS!" dune said taking his place int he driver seat.

The campsite was about 3 hours away but still in Illinois (is that a state? I'm British so idk, we're going with it) the view was amazing out the window, fields upon fields of farmland.

After about an hour and a half, I noticed Ellie had fallen asleep so I put a blanket over her and looked over to Emily who yawned then put her head on my shoulder. I nearly passed out on the spot. WHAT?! EMILY FELL ASLEEP ON ME AHHHH. I can't even express how I felt. I knew, at that moment, that she truly was something special to me and that we were meant to be....
