Tsuna smiled. The smile they saw felt so wrong in every other aspect they could think of. Wrongwrongwrongwrong...

But whatever they did, they couldn't look away from that (wrongwrongwrongbrokenbrokenbroken) smile of his. It looked so broken that they felt their chest clench in pain and stomach churning uncomfortably (was this how Shoichi felt..? They thought humorlessly as they tried to stop clawing at their chest area).

Reborn was the first to move, yet couldn't say anything but look at his students broken smile that didn't belong on his skies face. (it shouldn't be there-- shouldn'tbethereshouldn'tbethere)

Lambo was the second to move and the first to speak.

"Tsuna-nii..?" his small voice quivered, his tone lacking that arrogant and obnoxious tone that he keeps on speaking with and sounded so lost.

(Tsuna looked at them all and couldn't help but look back at his back and saw those dark mist that was going nearer to him by each passing moment as his flames slowly died out.

He didn't miss the glinting scythe as it was held in the grip of a fleshless hands that only the bones were intact, those dark robes fluttering about in the solemn winds that seem to whisper comforting words to him as they pass by him.)

Tsuna opened his mouth but nothing came out but a breathless gasp as he tried to desperately find the words and a speech to talk. A choked sob almost went out but held it in in his contrasting throat that dried up once he opened his mouth.

He wanted to desperately claw at his throat as he tried to say something. Somethingsomethinganythinganything.

He wanted to say something. He wanted to say anything. He wanted to tell them (it's not alright! I'm dying! Helphelphelphelphelphelp-), tell them everything! (everythingeverything)

But, instead of what he wanted to, those words that were meant to be said was not spoken. Instead of those intended words were replaced with lieslieslieslieslies.

A choked sob left his lips as he said in the most composed voice he could make; "I'm fine! Ever-everything's going to be alright!" he laughed a bitter laugh as he thought about those words he spoke.

(Words that held no meaning.

Words that only held lies.

Words that wanted to sound like comfort but didn't.

Words that he despised.

Words...

Words that were so fake he could taste it.)

And with that, his flames died out and those that were present could only watch as he fell to the ground as if he was a puppet that was robbed of its strings. Before they knew it, Reborn was already by his student side.

"Dame-Tsuna?" his voice quivered a bit as he felt those cold hands touched his. Lambo ran towards them, tears streaming down his cheeks as he jumped onto his big brother.

"TSUNA-NII!" the child shouted as he grasped his brothers shirt.

And they finally moved, as if the ice they were in finally thawed and left them the freedom they wanted.

"Haha, Tsuna? Why are you sleeping there?" Takeshi's voice sounded hysterical as he looked down on his sky. They all flinched at the tone.

"Ju-juudaime" Hayato kneeled down as he tried shake his boss awake. "Co-come on Tsuna-sama, wake up."

Lambo sniffed on his perch of Tsuna's chest as he clutched the fabric tighter in his tiny little hands.

"Sawada! You're just extremely sleeping, right? You'll wake up!" Ryohei shouted.
