For some time it felt like the shiny beige of the flooring beneath her, grew manacles securing her legs in place. Rendering her immobile. How could she so easily cave in to some stranger saying he knew the way to Hyejin?

She couldn't delve into his mind and submerge herself within his thoughts, so how could she possibly decide upon his next intentions. That's the thing with any other living person, you just can't. Let alone a stranger. Her eyebrows furrowed, gravitating towards one another in bewilderment. Her brain was teeming with a million questions about him, as she eyed his figure walking further away from her. She never got worked up about anyone, yet he had a peculiar effect.

Suddenly, a scoff escaped her lips as she assessed the weirdness of it all, running a finger through the loose hair that failed to comprehend the pattern of neatness that the rest of her bun followed. Maybe she would just ignore him.

"Hey, aren't you coming?" His voice derailed her thought making process once more, as she narrowed her eyes to his now still figure, peering towards her.

She let out a deep sigh, not paying mind to his oddly casual way of interaction.

Slowly, her eyes looked forward once more to notice how he still stood, awaiting her company. Hand in the pocket of his trousers and an effortless look plastered on his face, as he gazed at her, almost in amusement.

"Don't worry, I won't kidnap you or anything." He raised his voice to speak back to her, as he had already walked of in front. It all felt absurd. As though he was an old companion, that her memory had picked apart and demolished, yet some granules had managed to survive.

An unexplained feeling washed over her, as she could sense the blood in her veins rising in temperature and the pulse of her confusion remaining alive in her head.

"I don't know who you are sir, so I believe it's best that we go our separate ways now." She uttered, speaking from the heart and saying what felt appropriate at the time, despite her high in emotions.

"Hm but Hyejin is waiting for you, she has been for a while. I promise I'll just be leading the way." He reiterated his intentions once more in an attempt to sway her teetering thoughts.

Her attempt to give him an unimpressed look was swallowed when her eyes met his again and noticed the smile etched onto his lips.

The hesitation she felt was valid and even her limbs remained grounded and loyal to it, however her right foot betrayed it first, followed by her left. Until her body gently slipped into compliance with the strangers words.

Her eyebrows remained furrowed and her hands were intertwined with each other, almost as though they were hostile to her decision.

She noticed how he had turned around once he acknowledged her movements towards him. Perhaps her yearning to leave the confines of the building were biting her harder than before, as her numbing to the enclosing atmosphere was beginning to wear off. The faster she found heyjin, the faster she could take her leave.

Her steps were timid, as she descended further into the hall of tremendous arts engraved onto each square inch. She tried to digest the intricacies and each minuscule detail that had watched over the guests for countless years, truly bringing to life the saying of timeless beauty.

The interior design sung melodies of soft gold and beige to the viewers, as each thing strung onto the walls meshed into a beautiful song.

Her eyes drowning in trinkets from the past, were unaware of the sudden stop that the man had taken. She only noticed once she was a mere few inches from colloding again.

He turned around to face her, his round eyes told her nothing. Until they peered down to a region on her dress. Before another exchanged word, he swiftly pulled out a handkerchief resting in the pocket of his blazer as he extended his hand to offer it.
