Granger Family Reunion (Dramione)

Chapter 1

Monday mornings were always dreadful. Even when she was back in Hogwarts, Hermione hated them. Yes, it was a start to a new week and more opportunities to learn, but after two days of doing whatever she pleased, she dreaded waking up to go to class. Today was no different. She woke up this Monday morning dreading to go to work. Owning her own business had its perks, but dealing with annoying customers and bratty employees were not some of them. Being named as the brightest witch of her age from when she first started at Hogwarts meant that everyone expected the best of her. Everyone always expected her to become the Minister of Magic, so when she turned down the opportunity, to say people were shocked was an understatement. Not only did she start up one of the most popular fashion companies in Europe and the States with her best friend Ginny, but she was named number one entertainer of the year for six years straight. Her turning down the opportunity to become the Minister wasn't the only shocking thing she did. She married the man she once hated, Draco Malfoy. It not only came as a shock to her but to all of her friends when he apologized after the war was over. He told them that he was threatened by Voldemort to become a death eater and to let death eaters into the school or his parents would be killed. Even though he apologized, Hermione didn't forgive him for a while. He had always been so horrible to her during their school years that she didn't see it right to forgive him quickly. During their mock seventh year, they did get closer. To Hermione, he stopped bullying her and her friends and they stopped harassing him and his friends. She found out that not only was Draco smart, but he was also incredibly intelligent in all subjects. Even if he acted like he didn't care about DADA and charms and other classes that weren't potions, he still aced every test. The two became study buddies quickly, as Harry and Neville were both terrible at school. She came to love their meetups and all their discussions. It was nice for Hermione to have an intelligent conversation for a change, It distracted her from the heartbreak Ron left when he stood her up and vanished. As eighth year past, Draco and Hermione got closer. Close enough that five months later Hermione ended up getting pregnant with Scorp and Rina. Now, sixteen years of being happily married, she woke up next to her amazing husband. She took in every feature until a loud scream took over the entire manor, "You're so dead". Hermione took this opportunity to get up. When she got outside, Scorp was bound and gagged to a chair, why, she thought it might have something to do Mira's new green hair. Just as Scorp was about to be hexed, Rina called, "mail!!!". "We have a love letter to Mira from her dimwitted boyfriend, a glowing box for Scorp, and an awful pink perfumed smelling letter for Ms. Granger". Hermione's children knew full well of her past life even the hatred between her and Draco during their Hogwarts years. She opens the letter knowing full well it's from her cruel cousin Annika. It read:

Dear Beaver,

You are invited (not really) to our annual Granger family reunion. This year will be different as it will be to celebrate my two-month engagement to none other than THE DRACO MALFOY. Now go in that tiny closet of yours and find something nice to wear (if you have anything). It will be at The Ruby Serpent from June 20-26. Don't think about pulling any stunts because I can get you kicked out. Hope to see you (not). From your favourite cousin and future Mrs. Malfoy.

P.S. don't tell anyone about the engagement because we are announcing it at the press conference (a/n still a party and celebration), and then celebrating it at the party and reception afterwards.

The last thing Hermione wanted to do was to go to that reunion, The only reason Annika's family is hosting, is so they can show off their wealth. Hermione heard a chuckle behind her. "Well honey are you going to go, I mean it is at our newest hotel and we had already scheduled the press conference on the 25th two months ago and you and Ginny are revealing your identities on the 20th". Draco stated the obvious, but before Hermione could speak, she was again interrupted by Draco. "Also I wont be there till the 22nd, Blaise, Harry, and I have to go see how the construction is going for our new hotel The Golden Lion so we can have something to announce." Draco's not happy with the name, but Harry won the coin toss. Hemione didn't want to go, she'd have to deal with her s****y cousins who bully her. However she did want to see Lacy again, and they haven't seen eathother since Hermione's wedding. The only thing that came out of her mouth was, "Kids, go and pack, we are leaving early to go to the hotel!!!". Hermione then sent a text message to her cousin saying:

H: Annika, I'm coming to the reunion, and I'm bringing my friend/co-worker because we have some work to wrap up.

"Draco dear, be sure to tell the staff that Ginny and I will be going as Mrs. Granger and Mrs. Weasley." Hermione confidently spoke with a famous Malfoy smirk.

Also in this story, Draco and Hermione had already planned to reveal their identities two-months before they got the letter.
