Louis POV.

I recently heard that there'll be a new Student coming to school, I want to introduce myself to them.

I walk through the halls as I see many students doing their normal things in the hallway, like talking to one another or sitting and playing on their phones or reading.

I walk towards Tem's burial as I kneel and give a moment of silence as I closed my eyes and breath in, I hate that I Couldn't save him, but it's too late now.

My ears perked as I turned around and saw an unfamiliar face, a spotted Hyena? Are they the new student? I should introduce myself to them.

I turn around and pull a small smile on my lips, I reach my hand out as I start to introduce myself.

"Hello, I'm Louis, welcome to the school, you must be the new student," I said towards them as they slightly smiled.

"Ah, right! Thanks, I'm M/n and I haven't seen a red deer so up close, it's nice to meet you."

He grabbed my hand as I grabbed his hand and shook it, his hand felt a bit heavy and sharp and fluffy, it seems like he takes good care of himself, mist students show that they don't.

"Well, do you know where you're going? Or do you need help?" I ask his ears twitches as he laughs, I raised a brow in question. What was so funny?

He stops as his ears flatten on his head, his face was hot red as He growls at himself, he seemed already ticked, I wonder why.

"I'm sorry, I have this thing where I randomly laugh, I can't control it, I hope it didn't make me seem rude."

He whispered other's ears did his laughter, sharp eyes were on us, but that's fine.

"Ah, It's alright, can't control something, you're not rude at all," I replied, smiling.

He genuinely smiled at me, I let go of his hand as he scratches the back of his neck out of awkwardness, I laugh myself.

Your POV.

"Now your laughing, how come?"
My heart swelled a bit as my long-ish short tail wagged in excitement.

Louis is very handsome to me, I can't lie about it, his long muzzle, his long perked ears, and his short fluffy tail.

It was really cute to see him laughing, even when I just met him, is that normal?

"Ah, apologies, I found you a bit cute. It's lovely to meet you, M/n." He said, making my heart pound.

Wait. "Are you Louis? The one who is going to be the next beasts? Wow! I'm such a dumbass! How could I not know?"

I huffed, shaking my head, he sets a hand on my shoulder as he frowns a bit, did I do something wrong?

"Please don't downgrade yourself, you're not an idiot, and it's alright, And hopefully this doesn't come off as Rude but, for a hyena, your smart, and neat." He smiled, as he admitted.

"Oh! No worries! Honesty I get it as well, my Species isn't that very kind nor super smart! So I'll take your comment as a compliment." I beamed out, my tail wagging some more.

Louis seemed to notice, preciously smiling up at me as The bell rings.

"Shit the bell! I think I'm in the drama club! Are you there as well?" I mumbled, gripping the strap of my backpack as Louis nodded, he walks me downstairs and into two large doors, I see many different animals, tiger, bear, sheep, cheetah, lots of different ones.

"Woah! Many people here! Cool." I saw so many unique animals, the whole crew was staring at me, whispers already filling my perked ears.

"Is that the new student?"

"Of course they're a predator, we need more prey, I'm unsure what they'll do."

"Wow, a hyena? I'm surprised their species are here."

"Maybe it's nice? Look! It's Louis beside him!"

My ears flatten on the top of my furred skull, so much talking, I'm unsure about this, so many assumptions, so many whispers.

My hand was filled with Louis's hand as I gasp and stare up at him, squeezing his hand, look down at my feet.

My hand shook, and shook and shook, I can't do this, I have to leave.

"Louis... I-"

"Breath, it's okay." He ahems and gets many of the animal's attention and Frowned deeply.

"All of you, please respect M/n, he is new to this school and this is unacceptable to a new member in the drama club, please think before you speak." Did he stand up for me, why? I'm not as smart or as flexible or as flawless as him.

He stood up for ME. "Louis..you don't have to do this."

"No, this needs to be addressed." The animal's mumbles, some said they're sorry, some itched this neck awkwardly.

"Now, with that out of the way, I WANT all of you to meet M/n and be kind to him, or you'll be kick out of drama club or the school itself."

"Now, all of you, I want you to get into groups and start your new plag that is due on Wednesday in 3 weeks."

He sighs as others get into their groups and start chatting.

"Right, I'll be with you and Legoshi will be as well."

"Who's legosi?"
