I manage to get Charlie up, dressed and out the door within half an hour. We head to the restaurant across the street to grab lunch. I sit across from Charlie, staring at him.
"You've been smoking?" I eventually say, after a long silence.
"Yeah" Charlie says, poking his salad with a fork.
"You don't smoke" I say, trying to get him to look at me.
"I do now"
"Why do you do this to yourself? Don't you understand how much this is hurting me? I feel like someone has just reached inside of me and ripped out my heart, Charlie. You where fine last week. We where happy last week. I don't care if you kissed another girl. I'd prefer that you don't do it again but I've forgiven you."
"It's not about the kiss" Charlie suddenly lashes out, loud enough that people start staring at us, but that doesn't stop Charlie.
"I don't love you anymore. I don't want to be with you anymore, can't you just get that through your thick skull, Jesus Christ Angel." He shouts before almost flipping the table over as he stands up and marching out the door. Leaving me sitting alone on the table with the whole restaurant silent. Just staring at me. I put my hand over my eyes and allow myself to cry.

I got back to my apartment and immediately collapsed onto my bed. I know Charlie didn't mean those things.. He couldn't..
I grab my phone and call him. This time me picks up.
"Charlie" I sigh
"Yes"
"I'm sorry"
My phone disconnects before I can say any more. I lay down with my phone in my hand, staring at the ceiling.
