AMAIRA'S POV:
"Hi, Jaan. Just woke up. Dadi was playing in my mobile. She told me that you had called. She didn't wear ear hearing machine. She forgot that and was complaining me that you didn't talk anything"
I giggled at my lie. I didn't want her to be upset or guilt by realising that I had known truth. I just wished to give her chance. She is like my second mother after all. Can mother betray child? I know, she won't betray me. She won't use my innocence. She will realise her mistake.
"It was by mistake, Amaira. I just saw call log and came to know that I had dialled your number by mistake when I kept the mobile in my purse"
Okay, I agree, one can never confess their fault. It's fine, I don't mind though. I just wished her to be my bestie forever. I just wished her to not try to fool me again.
"It's fine, Riya. Did you meet, Krish?"
I had stopped with that question. I just wanted her to tell 'yes, I had met him'. I just wanted her to be truthful to me.
"Nope, actually, I didn't meet any guy there like you said"
I was beyond shock. Because, I had somehow expected this from her. But I took her as my second mother and my bestie. But what she did. Just broke my heart into pieces. I felt a broad thumb caressing my cheeks. Just then I realised that I was crying and Krish was wiping my tears.
"Jaan, can you hear me? Why are you silent? Maybe..."
No, I can't let her tell me any more lies. I can never let her talk any non sense about Krish. This maybe easy for her to tell lie to me and behave cheaply by try to snatch my love from me. But I don't want her to hurt me anymore.
"R Riya, K Krish had texted me. He had told me that y you had t talked with him... so n nicely. You were i impressed by him. I guess, you don't have any objection regarding my marriage with him. Infact I am out with him now. I will send you our pics. Bye"
I disconnect the call immediately, as I couldn't talk more and broke out into tears. How could she do this to me? How could she betray me like this? How could she...
POV ENDS:
Krish got up from his place and sat beside her. He wrapped his arms around her shoulder and brought jer close to his chest. She encircled her arms around his torso and weeped like kid over his chest.
KRISH'S POV:
I was admiring her blushing face, when someone called her. Her expression changed into bit sad and disappointed. She talked with the person and started crying. I gently took her in my embrace and let her cry. Sometimes, it's better to let the person cry rather than try to stop their tears. Their heart will be light. She talked inbetween her cry.
"It's Riya..."
Riya is her BFF. Infact she talked with her now. Wait... did she ask her that she had seen me? Means, it was Riya, who pretended like Amaira. How could she betray Amaira, her bestie like this? Amaira is already so senstive girl. She always values Riya equal to her mother. She would be broken so much. Now, nothing can be better medicine to her except silence.
"Shh... Relax! Stay calm, she will realise her mistake soon. She will come to you soon"
Frankly, I don't want Riya near Amaira at any cost. If She comes infront of Amaira, she will remember backstab always and will be in pain. But I don't know what else can be her pain relief.
"But I don't want her, Krish. I don't want to remember her this face. My good memories with her is enough for me. I don't want to keep any bad memory of her in my heart. If I see her face again, her betrayal will come to my mind. According to me, we had parted our ways since yesterday. Since today morning there was no one like Riya in my life"
She sobbed more saying so. I know this will be really hard to digest. Best friend turning into backstabber is really crucial. That pain will kill person mentally so much. She took a right decision to stay away with good memories. I dropped her till her home. She got down from bike and came infront of me. Her face was pale due to continuous cry. It ached to see her like that. But life sometimes teach us really hard things. To learn them, we should bear extreme pain. I know, it will be hard for her to trust anyone now. I couldn't even tell her my love today. I wish to say her that I will be with her forever. But she is not in any state to trust anyone. It's fine, she should recover from her wound. I will wait till then.
"Bye, Krish. Take care"
She gave me a small smile and rushed inside her room. I knew that she was crying gain. I took deep breath at her disappearing figure and went to my home.
POV ENDS:
Months had rolled on. It was wedding day of Krish and Amaira. They got married with the support of their parents. Krish went inside his room and saw his bride, sitting on his bed like an angel. But her eyes were pooled. He understood her pain and sat beside her.
He took her hands in his softly and looked into her eyes.
"You miss her, right?"
Amaira nodded her head slowly and threw herself in his arms. He held her and embraced her softly. She sobbed over his chest. He kissed her forehead and let her cry.
Though Amaira decided to stay away from Riya, she yet miss her lot. But she was not ready to see her face again.
After that day, Riya never showed up infront of Amaira anyday. The feeling of guilt and embrassment made her away of Amaira herself. No one knows where she went. But wherever, she too miss her friend.
The one cheap act of her had snatches her the most precious thing from her.
She was crying over her backstab on her bestie yet.
Krish didn't wish to see Amaira like that on their very special day. He wished to make her normal. He slowly brought his hand close to her waist and caressed there. She was jerked due to his sensation and blushed.
He smirked and threw blanket over themselves and started their life at that very moment.
So much had changed but the scare of that cheap incident was yet in this trio's life. It will be there ever to give pain occassionally.
