Lorena woke up with the sun shining brightly in her eyes. She sat up slowly and stretched her arms out wide. She yawned and looked at the time.
"9:43 am" it read. Lorena rolled her eyes and got out of bed. She then made her way to the bathroom down the hall to brush her teeth. That's when someone knocked on the bathroom door."Lorena! Sweetie, I need to tell you something!"
It was Lorena's mom. Lorena opened the door, toothbrush still in her mouth.
"What is it?" Lorena said.
"Well, me and your father were thinking...we should put you on medication....!!!" Lorena's mom said trying to sound excited.
Lorena sat there and glared at her mother. It got real silent until,
"I'm not taking those meds, mom." Lorena muttered angrily at the floor.
"B-but sweetie...it's best for You- you really need it-"
"I DONT NEED SHIT MOM! IM MOT CRAZY!!!" Lorena screamed at her mother.
"Don't you speak like that to me, Lorena. You will take these pills, wether you like it or not, I don't
care."
Lorenas mother slammed three pill bottles on the counter."You will take three of each of them each and every day. I will be counting them when you leave for school so I know if you took them or not. If I see three still in each one there will be consequences, you understand?"
Lorena could believe it. Her own mom didn't even see that Lorena was fine. Lorena glared at the ground. "Fine.." she said.
"Great. Now get ready for school."
Lorenas mom said as she slammed the door.Lorena glared at her reflection, and said,
"You want me to be insane so bad, huh?" She grinned. "Well one of these days, I'm going to show you fucking crazy."
Lorena took the pills, and prepared to be changed into the person her mom wants her to be.
Lorena started to except the fact they maybe she was crazy...but what if she was? She never wanted to be like everyone else anyways. To her, people we're always pieces of dog shit. But can you blame her? Lorena got dressed into a baggy hoodie and some converse high tops. And made her way to the bus stop. Ready for another day of torture from her "fellow" peers.
"Huh, maybe I should start to medicate." Lorena thought. "What else is there to do?"
