Chapter 6: Someone to protect

Y/N POV

It's been a week since i killed White Heart, and reveal the zero mortal plan

I've taken a break from the fighting, so i could be at full power when everything will be ready

Rei and I have gotten closer than before, and it's for the better

I started to have feelings for her, even though i wanted to stay as neutral as possible

She had feeling for me since i came here, because she isn't good at hidding things

Annonydeath took a break too, even if he/she is a robot

I was in my room, meditating, as i could hear someone knocking

Y/N: Yes?

Rei: H-Hey, it's me

Y/N: Hello there, how are you doing?

Rei: I-I'm fine, thanks

Y/N: What is the reason of your visit?

Rei: W-Well, i wanted to talk about myself...

Y/N: Oh?

I stopped what i was doing, as i looked at her

Y/N: Long story?

Rei: Y-Yeah

Y/N: Make yourself at home, i will bring some tea

She sat on my bed, as i started to make some tea

Y/N: You can start while everything is ready

Rei: O-Okay....

She seems nervous, as she looked down

Y/N: Don't worry, i won't do anything to hurt you

Rei: T-Thanks....

Change POV to Rei

It was when i was still the goddess of Tari

Everything went well, my people loved me, and i was the only nation in Gameindustry

Of course, some people didn't trust me, but it wasn't their fault

But, after someday, i was called by my Oracle

Rei: Yes? What is it Ricka?

Ricka was Tari's oracle, she had black hair, silver eyes, and was 5 feet tall

She was there since the beggining, and i felt a motherly aura coming from her

But, this time it was different, she seems, worried

Ricka: I will go straight with it Rei, the nation is in a bad position

Rei: W-What?

Ricka: The people lose their trust in you, and start to think that Tari should leave it's place for another nation

Rei: But i protect them! No one tried to fight our nation since it's created!

Ricka: Yes, but people evolve, and they want something new, they want a new adventure

Rei: And you're with them....

Ricka: W-What? No! I told them that if Tari goes on, they will be safe for the rest of their lives!

Rei: Then why do they want me to go?!

Ricka: ....

Rei: I will lead this nation alone, it was a pleasure to work with you Ricka

I turned around, and told her a few words that broke her heart

Rei: You're banished from Tari

Ricka: Sha was in disbelief of what was happening, but didn't say anything
