The Reality of a Love Story

The Begining Of It All

It all started at camp. Usually you see a guy and completely fall for him. But this story is different I already knew him. I just realized I liked him at camp. His name was James. We had hung out before and our families were good friends. He had a girlfriend already, Kylie. She was perfect in most peoples eyes. I was a 8th grader and James was in 10th. Just with that difference i didn't expect much. At camp I tried my hardest to impress him. I stayed as close to him as I could, as often as I could.

School was 1 month away and I was no where prepared for it. The only thing I knew was that he was gonna be there. Unfortunately I was still in junior high and didn't get to see him very often except for in the mornings in the gym where everyone meets. The summer wasn't over yet and our family went over to his house almost every day. He didnt know I liked him and I wanted it to stay like that for a while. I liked having him as a friend and didn't want to lose that if he found out. Our families were planning a cruise together. Was so excited my idea was a perfect cruise. By then James and I would me dating and he would stay by my side and be the perfect boyfriend ever. Well you know that every time you hear perfect then its obviously not going to be. Well school started and I saw him everyday in the gym. He would be out on the court playing basketball with all of his friends. My friends and I would be on the court in a circle passing a volleyball. It was a simple little crush where I just thought he was cute. But little did I know what this "crush" would become.
