Voices

chapter 8

I blink at my reflection in the mirror. Wait..Who's that? It can't be me. I don't have long BLUE hair. Strange. Pulling a lock of my hair into view I scream realising that the reflection is indeed mine. Everyone comes rushing into the bathroom.

"What happened?" asks Chess.

I turn round with an annoyed look on my face.

"Do people no longer knock before entering, I could have been naked for all you knew" I scream and a light pink blush creeps up onto his alabaster face.

"Anyway..." I say calmly "Who did this to my hair?" I ask shoving a fistful of my hair in their direction.

They all look at each other confused.

"Tabby, you've been in your human form this whole time" Lucian says.

"Soo...?"

"You're changing to your goddess form, which is obviously a blue hair beauty" Damien gives me a flirtatious grin.

"I don't get it"

I say and they all dead pan.

"Ok you know how I can change how I look, well you can switch between two forms Tabby, human and goddess" Chess explains.

"Thank you for putting that into kiddy words for me" I thank him.

"Ok now get out and go get some groceries, I need to be alone and I want food thus Noir will take you all to get food" I say shooing them out the door. I hear the front door click and I walk out into the living room and sigh. Peace and quiet.

"Think again" I hear a familiar voice and my eyes widen in fear.

"That's right lil kitty cat i'm back and Noir's not here to save you!"

I sink to the floor in dispair. I thought it was gone for good. I felt my legs work without my consent. I stumbled over to the kitchen and slide a knife from the marble counter. I feel the cool metal against my thigh.

"I'm gonna make this slow and painful" it purred. How disgusting, taking satisfaction in someone elses pain.

Feeling a sharp pain slice down my leg I gasp. This can't be happening. The voice laughs at my feeble crying. It slices my arms, switching the knife from hand to hand. I look down at my blood stained carpet and I close my eyes as if it'll all g away if I do.

"Noir help me!" I cry and I hear the door being kicked open.

I feel strong arms wrap around me and the brush of someones silky hair against my neck.

"It's ok Tabby, I'm here now" I hear Noir whisper in a comforting tone. I cry at the ear piercing shriek from the crow like voice as it departs.

"Noir help me" I whisper once again. He turns me round so he can see all the damage I had done. He stares in shock before finally running off. He returns moments latter with banadages.

"I'm not leaving you alone again" he states. I just nod, not able to do anything more.

"Tabby look at me" he says lifting my chin so I look him in the eyes.

"I will not let that 'Thing' harm you again, you got that?" Fire burned in his Violet eyes. He pulls me sloser and I feel a new wave of tears coming on as a familiar stinging sensation sets in.

So I realised I haven't put Mr evil voice in for awhile and I was like Damn I gotta put it in this story is called voices after all. The cover picture is what I think she'll look like in Goddess form. I have slow internet :( Anyway have fun and vote, comment please comment I like reading them and fan if you like :)
