I Wish I Could Say It (joe x reader fanfic)

the day we met

You looked up at the school, and then back down at the paper. So this is the myth school, huh.. you thought to yourself. With the pond.. I've always wanted to try taking to myself. I've ways been lonely..you brushed back a peice of hair behind your ear. It says someone is supposed to meet me at the entrance, but who? I don't see anyone. You looked around at the school and the pond. You tucked the paper into the vibrant school uniform your mom got you a few weeks ago, and started toward the school on shaky legs.

You were lost in thought, and you started to hear footsteps coming your way. Loud ones, as if they were running. And then suddenly.. WHAM! Your feet left the ground, and you were suddenly flying through the air. Well, it felt like flying, but you just feel to the ground with a boy you didn't know on top of you. The boy raised his head
"owwww.. that really hurt.. Oh! I'm so sorry I knocked you over! Here let me.." you looked into his big black eyes. He seemed.. stunned. A dog on a keychain almost fell out of his chest pocket, and it snapped him back to reality. "Oh, crap. I'm not being a gentleman, am I? Here, lemme help ya up!" He said grinning shyly, with a outstretched hand.

He's so sweet.. no one has done this for me before. He's cute too- crap, what am I thinking? He's probably not interested.. your thoughts swirled around in your mind, and you took his hand brushing off the dust from the ground.
       "Hey, what's your name? If you went to this school you'd definitely have detention for getting here so late. Or maybe your secretly a biker gang leader and don't care! Like in those old movies.." He looked up at you and smiled with a goofy grin you were beginning to come to love. "So, what's your name?"

You looked at him and locked eyes. He jumped a bit. I'm beggining to like this guy  you think to yourself, and smiled back. "My name's _____." The boy looked at you with a hint of suprise, and raised his eyebrow.
       "Are you sure your not a biker gang leader and the new student?" You laughed at his remark, and pulled out the paper from your chest pocket. "I got proof! Besides I thought I was going to be greeted by someone named 'Sara Chidouin?' it says it here." You opened the paper and handed it to him. He took a corner and read some of it.

    "No siree my friend, Sara is out sick today and I volunteered so it looks like I will be showing you around!" He put a hand to his chest and grinned again. A sudden surprised look on his face makes you jump, and you look at the boy curiously. "What's up..?" He smacked himself in the head.
      
   "I haven't introduced myself yet how can i be a gentleman if I haven't even done that?" You gave him a goofy smile and took his hand off his forehead. "Hey, you've been enough of a gentleman to make me call off the hitmen I have on the roof" you joked, going back to his suspicion of you being a biker gang leader. He perked up and his spike of hair swayed. He crossed his arms and put a suspecting grin on his face.
       "Aha! I knew it! I knew you were suspicious! I'll have to turn you in!" I have a feeling he'd like me to play along.. you thought to yourself as you looked into his eyes.

"No please sir don't turn me in I'll pay you handsomely with doner kebabs!" You acted and put your arms as an x in front of your face. His lip quivered and he broke character laughing. His laugh had a thing about it, that makes you want to join in. You started laughing with him and realized you still didn't know his name. "Hey, what's your name, anyway?" You asked cocking your head to the side with a smile. He looked up with a retuning grin, and spoke.
        "Joe tazuna, at your service!" He tried to bow, but fell over. You laughed more, and helped him up. "Well then joe tazuna, how about a week from now we get doner kebabs? You can bring friends too! My treat." You motioned to yourself.

He looked suprised, with a hint of admiration. "Well, _____, I don't see a reason not to turn down that offer. I except!" He said graciously, and bowed again. This time, not falling over. He then put his arm out and gestured to link arms. "Well? Shall I show you around, mlord?" He said with his goofy grin. You blushed, and linked arms with him. "Let's!" And marched into the school.
