—I DO NOT OWN NARUTO—
Arashi woke with a start, heaving and drenched in a cold sweat. "Damn, another nightmare. I'll never get rid of those." Looking to his right the digital clock that read 5:00. "A bit early but better than nothing." Sitting up in a meditative position, the redhead began to formulate a plan for the day. "I still need to go shopping for food and meet with Jiji. Food will have to wait till after, no places will be open at this hour; I suppose I'll get that done after meeting with Jiji, then stop by to 'meet' team seven."
Arashi doubted the old man would be at his office but figured he might as well check. It would be around six by the time he finished getting ready anyway. With his plan for the day formulated, Arashi trudged to the shower to start his day.
—small time skip of 1 hour—
Having finished his breakfast, Arashi stepped out of his apartment, making sure to lock the door, and shunshined to the Hokage tower. After noticing the old man's chakra located in the office Arashi scaled the steps easily and stopped by the secretary, waiting for his presence to be noticed—which seemed to take a few minutes as she seemed a bit tired.
Looking up from her work the young woman visibly perked up at the sight of Arashi. "What can I help you with shinobi-san?" She attempted with—what he thought—a seductive tone.
With an inward grimace, Arashi kept a blank face and only thought, "I never understand women, must be why I never had any relations with them extending past friendships." Arashi knew, of course, that he never had any sexual or emotional attraction to women. His 'crush' on Sakura was a farce to gain attention and attempt to fit in.
"I would like to meet with Hokage-sama." Arashi replied in a bored tone.
Off put by Arashi's tone, the secretary scowled, "sorry but he's busy in a meeting," she stated with a flat and frustrated tone.
Arashi's eyes flashed as they turned to a cold blue, "forgive me, but it is hard to believe Hokage-sama would be in a meeting at this hour, not to mention I can sense his chakra behind this door. You would do well not to lie as it could damage the integrity of this village." Arashi stated sternly and with command. He could remember her now as one of the hostile villagers of his youth, often denying him access to the Hokage's office.
The secretary paled and seemed frightened at Arashi's intimidating demeanor. Before she could utter an apology, a familiar voice cut in.
"Arashi-kun, so nice to see you so bright and early in the morning. Though I have to ask you to restrain from terrorizing the civilians for formalities sake." At this, the young secretary visibly relaxed and gave Arashi a smirk, showing that she believed she had won. "However," Hiruzen's hard voice cut in, "denying access to my shinobi when it is unnecessary is unforgiveable, as I understand you have done this to Naruto-kun as well. Leave. You are fired." The secretary had a look of shock and fear on her face as she scrambled to leave her desk.
Once she had disappeared Hiruzen turned to the redhead and began, "You're looking much more well rested, though still a little weary, I suppose it will take time. Come, we have much to talk about."
"Of course." Arashi replied softly and silently followed Hiruzen into his office. Once the door closed, the silencing seals were activated with Hiruzen dismissing the hiding ANBU as well. "I believe the first step is planning for the Chunin exams," Hiruzen began.
Arashi nodded, "yes, the Chunin exams is essentially were everything goes downhill. Though I would've liked to do something about the Uchiha massacre, I assume Kurama did not have enough chakra to bring me back that far."
