I was really starting to like this place. I think. I mean everyone was nice, but I was still fucking scared.
We kept walking to like the other side of "base" to find some girl named Lauren.
Lauren?
Yeah, Lauren. When she came here, I rescued her from the box. Shes like a little sister to me.
Oh.
We stopped messaging after that.
"Who the fuck is this girl?" Lauren said diapprovingly.
"A new recruit. Lauren, play nice." said Harry, protectively slipping his arm around my shoulder.
She whined, "Fine. I still don't understand why I'm stuck with new bitches."
Nice to meet you too, sassy.
Hey, you play nice too.
STOP READING MY THOUGHTS.
Ok, Bull.
I knew that nickname was gonna stick.
Harry, don't leave me alone with this girl. I think she might kill me.
You're fine. I have to go get the next recruit any way. By the looks of it, her name is Sofia. Bye.
He causually came up and kissed me on the cheek.
Yup, definitely like this place.
"I'm Lauren, you can call me whatever you want." she said sassily.
"I'm Bel- " I tried.
"I don't care."
She led me into her tent. It was a closet full of combat clothes and stuff I would wear on a regular day.
"Take what you want." She turned to her couch and pulled out her phone.
I want a cool phone.
Check your pocket, Bulla.
God, you have an interest with my brain.
You have cute thoughts.
I blushed like crazy and pulled out my phone.
It had everyones numbers that I knew, and some I didn't know.
I put it away and plucked a tight white tank top, a pair of green camoflage pants and black combat boots. I thought of the words: Clothes on, and my clothes were on. My hair was fixed into high pony tail and my body was cleaned of its mud.
No more showers for me.
Shame.
SHUT UP, HARRY.
"What?" Lauren asked.
I must of said the last part aloud.
"Lauren, " I started.
"What do you want?" she complained.
"I know you don't want me here and I don't wanna be here either. I'm just confused and scared and-"
She got up and hugged me.
Whoa.
"Its ok. We are all scared. Really. " She put me an arms length away from her and stared at me.
"You can read minds like Harry can't you." she asked quizitively.
I nodded.
"I'm a shape shifter, I can turn into any thing I want to." Lauren explained.
She turned into a Spice Girls Poster right before my eyes.
I laughed, "Maybe I should call you Posh then, Ms. Spice."
She turned back to normal and laughed along with me.
"You're not half bad, Bella." Lauren admitted.
"Thanks." I gushed.
I heard a voice from outside. It was an Irish voice.
"Lauren, Harry is sending Sofi- Oh, you must be Bella."
He. was. gorgeous. His brunette hair was dyed blonde. His blue eyes sparkled in the closet lighting. He wore a blue V-Neck t shirt and and jeans.
Dayum.
Now, now, Bulla. I could hear Harry laughing.
I laughed too.
"Yeah, thats me."
"I'm Niall." He smiled. He had a gorgeous smile.
"Well, this one has to go to bed." Posh put her hands on my shoulders and hustled me out like a conga line.
Niall followed me. "Do you need help finding your tent?"
I nodded.
He laughed. "Here, follow me."
He took my hand and we walked.
"What's your power?" Niall asked.
Well, does this answer your question.
"Oh god, all we need is another Harry." He joked.
"What's you power?" I questioned. "Do you turn into Spice Girls posters?"
"What the hell are you talking about?" he chuckled again.
"Nevermind, show me your power."
"Ok, Belly."
Niall, dropped my hand and turned invisible before my eyes.
"HOLY FUCK THAT IS THE COOLEST THING I'VE EVER SEEN DO IT AGAIN."
Calm down, Bulla.
Harry, I sent warningly.
Niall laughed and turned invisible again.
"I'm not sure how being invisible is going to help, I mean that cute little laugh of yours would give you right away." I teased.
"Oh so I'm cute now." He teased back.
"Whatever lets you sleep at night." I patted his cheek and walked away.
"But wait! Don't you need my help?" He yelled after me. He sounded desperate. I was desperate.
I laughed and tapped on my head before jogging off.
