note: i wrote this on my tablet in my memos without internet because i was really bored and not home so the formatting might be weird, but i'll fix it as much as possible!

late night baking with keonhee
i woke up in the middle of the night, shivering. the room had suddenly grown cold. i huddled the blankets closer to me, before i realized that my source of warmth wasn't there. puzzled, i sat up, turning the lamp on and looking around the room, he was nowhere to be found. i started to panic a bit, and i put my glasses on and walked out of the room. i arrive in the kitchen to see keonhee, arms and hands covered in flour, his apron adorned a splotch of egg and sugar.
"keonhee? what are you doing? it's 2 in the morning." i stood there with my arms crossed. "o-oh, uh, hi y/n! i wanted to surprise you with breakfast in bed, but we have no pancake mix, so i wanted to bake your favorite cookies for you but i ended up making a mess..." he pouted, setting the bowl of dough down. i started to smile uncontrollably, before bursting out into a fit of giggles. "keonhee, love, you didn't have to do that..." i walked over and hugged him tight, before starting to mix the bowl myself. "you need to break the egg for it to mix in, like this."
he watched me like a little kid, his arms around my waist, his chin on my shoulder. he was literally the human version of the pleading emoji as he watched me stir the dough until it was the proper mixture. "we'll finish these, then go to bed, okay? i'll stuff you into a blanket burrito if you don't stay and cuddle me." he just smiled and nodded, holding onto me tighter. i started to lay balls of dough on the cookie sheet, before putting it in the oven and waiting for them to come out so i could eat a couple and go to back to bed.
"hey, y/n?"
"yes, keonhee?"
"can we do late night bake nights more often?" if he wasn't the pleading emoji before, he definitely was now. i giggled, smiling. "of course. just don't abandon our cuddle time in the process."
