Riley's P.O.V.
Beep!Beep!Beep! I slam my hand down on my alarm clock. Finally. It shut up. "RILEY!!!!" my mom called from downstairs. "HUH?!" I yelled in response. "Oh, I was just making sure you're awake." she said. I roll my eyes. "Well I am."
I get up and brush my teeth and wash my face. I go and pick out my outfit settling on a PATD shirt, black skinny jeans, and my black converse. I'm not exactly what one would call skinny, but I'm not changing for some stupid boy, I wouldn't say I'm fat either. I walk into my bathroom (my parents are filthy rich, this huge house in my perspective is unnecessary) and run a brush through my wavy brunette hair. Rummaging through my makeup bag I pull out my black eyeliner and line my blue eyes. Then I apply mascara. I'm not much of an eyeshadow fan so I leave my eyelids alone. Putting on a layer of clear lipgloss I'm ready for school. I grab my book-bag and head downstairs.
"Good morning sweetie." says my mom. "'morning mom." I grab an apple and make my way towards the door. "Bye mom see ya later." I say. "Alright I love you!" She replies. "Love you too!" I say. Walking to my car, being the eighteen year old that I am and having my license I can drive myself to school.
I park in my usual spot next to Ash. Getting out of my car I make my way over to Ashton waiting for me by the doors. "Hey riles!" He says, using the nickname he gave me. "Hey Ash! We're still on for movie night right?" I reply. "Of course!" He answers. "Great! Now let's go, we can't be late to Mr.Hutcherson's class again." I say. He nods and grabs my hand, together we make our way through the crowd and to class. now I know what you're thinking. "Why are you guys holding hands?" We do it all the time, it's normal for us.
We made it all the way to third period. It's now lunchtime, Ash and I usually go to Panera or Taco Bell for lunch so I wait for him by the door. He makes his way over to me. "Where are we going today?" I ask."hmmm I'm in the mood for some Panera broccoli and cheese soup, so Panera." he answers. I smile. "alright, let's go."
We get in his Range Rover and head for Panera. I slide in our favorite PATD CD and we start jamming to "Girls/Girls/Boys". "I don't wanna hear you got a boyfriend" Ashton starts. "Sometimes you're better off alone" I add. "But if you change your mind you know where I am, yea if you change your mind you know where to find me, cause I..don't ever wanna be your boyfriend" he sings. We skip to the chorus "GIRLS LOVE GIRLS AND BOYS" We scream together.then end of the song comes and we sing together "and love is not a choice." we erupt into giggles. " I freaking love that song!!!" Ashton says. "Same here buddy!!" I reply.
We walk into Panera and while waiting for our food we people watch. Ashton's amazing at it, he does a different voice for each person it's hilarious! We get our food and start munching having small talk in between. Sadly after we head back to school.
*After school*
Blasting music through my iPod doc my mom comes into my room with Ashton then leaves. "Hey ash!" I say. "Hey riles!" He replies. " what movie ya wanna watch?"I ask him. Umm...GrownUps 2?!" He answers. "YES!!!" I screech. My mom brings the popcorn and snacks, I then pop in the movie while Ash and I cuddle on my bed and watch.
I feel my eyes drooping and I'm soon asleep in Ashton's arms...I love him...maybe...in a romantic way....
