Anti-Cream Story One

(I edited it a teensy bit, I was going to make it more serious, but I think I rather like the cringy-ness, cause one day I'll look back at this and laugh, happy that I improved my writing)

*3rd Pov*

     Cross and Dream sat by the edge of a riverbank, peacefully watching the wildlife drink water by the river.

     They both seemed quite nervous yet excited, but for different reasons of course. One was about to confess their feelings for the other, while the other skeleton was going to announce his current relationship status to them.

     The taller of the two cleared his throat and sat up. "I uhmm... Have something important to tell you." He said. The embodiment of positivity instantly thought that he was going to confess his undying lover for him too, so his face flushed in yellow. (This kids, is why you never jump to conclusions.)

     "R-really? Well, so do I." He replied. "Oh really, okay. Would you like to go first?" Cross offered. "I-uh, sure!" He, breathed deeply, preparing himself for what was to come. "So, we've known eachother for a while now. You're really nice to me and you make me feel nice and tingly inside. More than what my aura could do. So what I'm trying to say is, I like you. A lot."

    Cross was taken aback, suprised to hear the news. The shock quickly faded away, and he lightly frowned. "I'm sorry Dream, but I don't feel the same way. Actually, I wanted to tell you that I started seeing someone recently." As Cross said these words he started blushing.

     Dream was on the verge of tears. The thought of Cross being with another brought such a strong pain in his soul. "C..could you tell me who it is?" Dream asked, resisting the urge to cry.

     "Oh! He's actually on his way right now!" Cross exclaimed. As soon as the sentence came out, Epic appeared. "So... this is your boyfriend?" Dream, even closer to crying choked out. "What? Epic? Oh good heavens no! He's just here for- wait, why are you here?" Cross questioned.

      "Well, I was just walking around when I saw my favorite bruh, bruh." He 'bruhed'. The sound of a few twigs snapping indicated that there was another living thing in their presence. "Senpai!" Cross flung himslef at the unknown creature. "Cross! You don't know who or what it is!" Dream exclaims. "But it's senpai!" Cross snuggles the said 'senpai'. The 'senpai' lets out a low chuckle. "It's sad that you can't even reconize your own brother. Honestly, I'm quite hurt." He holds the smol Oreo close to him. Said Oreo purrs in satisfaction. He then suddenly pulls away. "Oh yeah! This is my boyfriend, Nightmare!" Cross said, having a tentacle bring him back into the hug, making him blush profusely.

    "Brother! How could you?!" Dream screams. "What?" Nightmare asked, quite confused. "You stole my man!" Dream screeched. "I mean, he was single when I asked him out, so I don't see why you are calling him your man. That is unless he lied to me. In that case, he would need a punishment for misbehaving." Nightmare responded, facing Cross. "I wasn't lying senpai." Cross said innocently. Nightmare's cheeks became lightly tinted with a cyan color. He leaned down to give his lover a small peck on his 'lips'. It then soon became a deep kiss. Epic clapped his hands lightly as he wiped a tear. "My bruh is growing up." Dream ran away, dramatic effects making him looks like he was in slow motion, dramatic anime tears came out of his closed eyes. He then proceeded to  trip on a rock and fall into the river. Cross g a s p e d and went to get him out of the river, only to have a tentacle wrap around his waist, bringing him back to Nightmare. Cross whined in protest. "Don't worry I'll get him." Epic said. Nightmare pulls Cross onto the ground, snuggling the little UwU child.
