In one of the highest apartments in the entire apartment complex a young man with platinum blond hair and emerald green eyes was sitting on his balcony staring down at the scenery before him
It was such a beautiful day outside
Sunny, the temperature wasn't too hot or too cold, just right, and clear sky
What an odd turn of events
The weather forecast said that today was supposed to be a cold, windy, and rainy day
'I guess life had other plans' the young man thought
'Yeah...other plans...'
He watched as people were taking advantage of this beautiful day by spending their time at the park where he lived close to
He stared as people would walk by
Until a certain sight caught his attention
His eyes wondered to the sight of a couple walking with a baby girl inside a stroller
He saw how the couple would laugh and play with their daughter
His eyes then switched to another couple who was having a picnic
This time he saw a man who had pressed one of his hands against a woman's pregnant stomach
The man smiled
'I guess he felt a kick'
Lloyd then walked back into his apartment with his head bowed down and fist clenched
'That could have been us' is the only thing he could think
'That should have been us ...Nya' his thoughts continued
He felt tears run down his face as a wave of pain and sadness came over him
The memories of the past have now become so much for him to bear
He still remembered some of the last moments he had with her
~Flashback #1~
Lloyd put the newly purchased ring in his pocket as he walked out of the jewelry store
He wanted to get her something else but he spent so much money on the ring that he only had one dollar left
As he was walking he stumbled across a stand, a person was selling roses for a dollar each
He walked to the stand to see all roses of various colors
The roses came in pink, red, yellow, lavender, coral, white, etc
In the end he decided to purchase a red rose
Since he had already asked Nya's parents and Kai for their blessing to marry her in advance all he had to do was to figure out how he will propose to her
He also told Wu and Misako about his plans to propose to Nya
All he knew was that he was excited to do this but also nervous because he doesn't know how Nya will respond to his proposal
