I know that I can't say anything about where Elena has been for the sake of my older brother Cody. Last week Cody went out with James whos been his buddy since the 1st grade. Even though Cody and James have been bestfriends for so long theres something James is keeping from Cody. Two years ago I had a little crush on James, we never pursued the relationship because he was my brothers best friend, but in that little time I got to know the real James. We would talk for hours about our secrets and one night he told me everything...
that he was a vampire.

Two years go on and I kept his secret well hideen until the other night. Cody and James got into a bar fight and guns where pulled out.

The men fired shots until the last one hit Codys chest. James ran to Cody's side, he pressed his hands on his wound trying to hold the blood in.
"No, No Cody please." Tears poured from James eyes, he couldnt lose his bestfriend.
Cody's eyes finally shut, leaving his pale body under James. He picked him up into his arms and rocked him in a corner. "This better work. I've never done this before." He lifts his wrist to Codys mouth trying to force him to feed from him.
When I came home that day I went into my brothers room to check on him. I saw Codys body on the floor and dropped beside him. "What did you do?! "
James held his knees close to his chest. "I-It wasn't my fault. These guys, they came up to us and picked a fight. Cody and I stood up to them and they pulled out a gun." He shuts his eyes letting tears fall. "I didn't know what to do."
"Why didn't you call an ambulance? You just let him die! What's wrong with you?"
"I-I gave him my blood before....before he was completely gone. I don't know if it worked, I've never done it before."
"You what?" My eyes go wide.
"I had to do something....hes my bestfriend y/n. Plus what if it worked...he might be alive because of me. Yes , it was risky but he is my best friend."
"You exposed your secret! No one is supposed to know what you are. Not only did you completely ruin yourself you just ruined Cody's life. He will come back as a vampire. You don't know how to control a newbie. Your still new!"
"A vampire?" Codys eyes slowly opened and he tried lifting his body off the floor feeling weak.
Thats when it all started Cody was turning. He had hours to make the descion to stay alive or die.

No one knew what to do next so James asked the only other vampire he knew in town...Niklaus Mikaelson. James had been working for Klaus for some time, he had been sired to him since Klaus turned him. Klaus made it clear to James that he would never help anyone. He was just here to get Elena so he can make more of his hybrids, so James had to get under Klaus skin. He had to get the only thing Klaus cared about....Elena. It was the only way Klaus would help us. When Elena was finally brought to Klaus's hands he offered to get one of his witches to find the cure for Cody. He wouldn't have to live his life as a vampire for enteriny, he would be human again.

Now it may look like things are looking up but that wouldn't be true. Every vampire in the world is after that cure....and even worse the Salvatore brothers are after Elena.

Stefan snaps me out of my thoughts with his cold hand touching my neck. "Y/n just tell us where she is. If you do you won't be in any harm. We will get the answer out of you one way or another."

I avoid eye contact with all three of the men in the small room. "I already told you. I don't know where she is!"

Damon losses his cool and tips the chair over with his foot. He gets on the floor beside my tied up body and sticks out his fangs. "Tells us!"

I look at Kai with pleading eyes as damons fangs sink into my skin. He can barley look back for some reason seeing me like this is causing him pain. I just wish he would do soemthing.
