The Hidebehind (MonsterFalls StanfordXWinged!Hidebehind!Reader) Part One

Y/N POV

I am the shadow you see in the corner of your eye. That black figure in the woods that seems to be following you. I do not harm you I just watch in curiosity, I might mess around with you though, For I am the one known as the Hidebehind, The one that lumberjacks warn you of. 

My real name is Y/n but I have grown accustomed of the thing they call me, The hidebehind. I have two forms. My most seen form is a Tall, all black figure with white eyes and my other form is a human like form with f/c wings. I've seen all sorts of creatures, to mermaids to werewolves, I've never seen a sphinx. Which is what I'm seeing now. I was perched on a tree, In my common form, Known as the hidebehind form. Two adults and two children, A mermaid, A deertaur, A Gargoyle and the one I'm most interested in, a sphinx. I overheard that the sphinx's name is Stanford, The gargoyle Stanley, The deertaur is Dipper and finally the mermaid is Mabel, I think. An interesting group they are. They seemed to be looking for me, The hidebehind me. So I crept up behind Stanley and he saw me and turn around then I was gone, I could teleport. I was Now around the sphinx. He was interesting to say the least. He was holding a book in his hand It had a six-fingered hand on the cover and a number in the middle. I swiped it out of his hand when the gargoyle yelled 'I think I saw it!' He had turned around and then when he wasn't looking took it and teleported away to a tree nearby. 

"Guys look!" The deertaur, Dipper yelled pointing to the tree I was in. Then Ford said "It took my Journal!" They  all looked over to the tree so I let them have glimpse of me and then teleported to a Lake nearby, looking around in the journal. I found an entry on me. The book had information on all sorts of creatures. Soon enough I heard flapping of wings and then Ford and Dipper found me. I looked at them with my white eyes. "H..hello?" Dipper asked/greeted me. I allowed them to see me because something about this group intrigued me. I put the book down and turned to face them both, "Hello" I responded. Both of their eyes opened wide. "Y..You can talk!?" Dipper exclaimed, "Of course I can, didn't I just say hello to you?" I said, obviously giving sass. "Fascinating.." I heard Ford mumble. "Anywho, It was nice talking to you but I gotta scram, I got places to be, Places to go so see ya!" I Said before transforming into my other form and unfurling my wings, flapping them a few times testingly and then flying away. I flew to a nearby mountain peak and went to my den, taking some leftover food from yesterday and gobbling that down.

A few months have passed and I had grown acquainted to that group I saw in the forest, the Pines family. I mostly hung around Ford since he was fun to be around, and just because we are very different doesn't mean that we wouldn't hang out. I got him to go out more and he got me into a game called Dungeons, Dungeons and more dungeons. It was pretty fun as it was quite an imagination game and I Was very imaginative. I liked reading in his study as he worked, it was nice to have company even if it was silent, I think he appreciated that too. It was only time that I grew to know of my crush on the Sphinx, and soon enough A holiday called 'christmas' was came, I should've known something would happen that day. 

Okay guys so this is a two part story and The next part will be out as soon as possible, Probably in 5 minutes or maybe an hour but it will be out today! I feel a boost of inspiration! So I Promise that this time the second part will come out. Thanks for reading and see ya later!
