taeyong on the other line let out a sigh.

"if my parents made me marry an abusive lunatic i wouldn't feel any different."

"at least they take in consideration you don't like girls.."

ten let out a scoff "i'd rather marry a woman than spend the rest of my life with this lunatic."

taeyong bit his lip, feeling bad for ten who was in this situation.

"h-he's nice to august isn't he?"

"he thinks she's his..what do you think?" ten breathed in, letting a deep breath out right after.

"i forgot about that.."
taeyong admitted, making sure to be careful with his words. biting off the skin on his already scabbed lips.

a slightly uncomfortable silence filling up both lines, after the mention of august, both of them unable to continue the conversation.

should he ask about johnny? it's been so long since he heard about the older..

it shouldn't feel like a taboo to talk about him, but ten couldn't help but to feel that way.

"h-how's j-johnny?"

taeyong swallowed thickly,

"he's doing better.." he played with the promise ring on his finger. "much better than when you left.."

"he's still a little hung over but, he's trying his best on his part to move on.."

ten let out a breath he didn't know he was holding,

as much as this hurt him. it was better for johnny to move on from him.

even when times were hard for him, as long as he kept johnny's sweet words in mind he'll be okay..
