Y/N P.O.V
I was decorating me and Sasuke's apartement with balloons and other birthday decorations
Yup its his birthday today weve been dating for almost a year now, and i was hoping to surprise him after he gets home from work, i got his favorite food ready wich was onigiris, tomato soup, raw tomatos just incase, and i didnt prepare any cake since i know he didnt like anything sweet.
Everything was coming together, he should be home any minute now...

I closed the lights and wait...

Its been 1 hour...
I turn on the lights confused, then i checked my phone to see a new post from sakura the team 7 was celebrating together and it looks like sasuke was gonna get home late
I sighed in dissapointment but i kept my hope and went to warm the food up and i proceeded to wait till he comes home...
Its been 30 minutes..
I was sitting down on the chair sleepy but i tried my best to stay awake..

Sasuke P.O.V
I finnaly got home after a hour and half, Naruto, Sakura and kakashi sensei draged me to a bar to celebrate for my birthday, i had fun i guess, but i knew my (Y/N) was waiting for me so i left the bar and quickly came home.
I opened the door, then (Y/N) tackled me and said "happy birthday!" I fell to the ground and then he was on top of me, "so you finnaly came home and rememberd about me, eh?" He asked with a bit annoyence in his voice.
"Ne, Gomen..they wouldnt let me leave so early" i said kissing his cheek
"Its fine, im just glad your not home drunk or else all of this would be for nothing" he said getting off me
I got up and he said "come on i made you some food to eat, its your favorite" he sweetly smiled to me.
"Thankyou" i replied kissing his forehead.
I sat down on the chair and so did he
I started to eat the food on the dinning table, he looked happy that i enjoyed the meal he made. After eating i got changed into something more comfortable and cuddled with him
We both fell asleep peacefully in eachothers arm..im glad to have him in my life..
