"I'll just head to camellia hills and clear my mind there further"
The bus ride was over pretty quickly and Y/N made it to the boat to Jeju island.
The sun was already setting making the sea appear with an orange glowing color.
Y/N stared into the distance of the waters while trying to enjoy the calming sounds of seagulls and waves.
As he was enjoying the breeze a man stood next to him and spoke "nice sunset isn't it young man?"
Y/N looked to his left and smiled at the elderly man. "Indeed it is."
They had some small talk about the sunset and its colors. And time passed by quickly, the sun had almost completely disappeared under the horizon.
Y/N and the elderly man said their goodbyes as they got off the boat.
"What a kind man.. oh right i should hurry to grandma's house" Y/N said as he fastened his pace.
Not soon after he made it to the doorstep of an modern and yet traditional Korean house.
Y/N took his shoes off and walked around the house to look where his grandmother was.
"Gran gran? Where are you?" As Y/N said that he opened the door to the kitchen and saw his grandmother.
She was busy grinding flower petals in a bowl, it is something she taught Y/N when he was just a little boy.
She turned around and smiled as soon as she saw her grandson. "Hello dear, would you mind brining this to the table?" She handed him a bowl with petals she had already finished grinding.
"Of course grandma" Y/N said as he took the bowl and placed it down on the table.
"By the way dear, There is a new flower field near the light house. It is quite busy during the day but at nights like these its quite nice" she smiled knowing that Y/N would be excited about it.
"Really? Shall we go together?" He said excited.
Granny her smiled faded a bit. "I'm sorry dear but i can't. The doctor said to rest. But you are free to go" she smiled again.
Y/N sat down on a chair "then why don't we go tomorrow? You can rest then until then." His grandmother laughed slightly as she sat down in the chair in front on Y/N.
"Oh deary, there is no need for you to wait for me.. but before you go lets have a cup of tea shall we?" Y/N nodded as he knew what a cup of tea meant. It meant she wanted to talk about important things.
After Grandmother prepared the tea she handed it to Y/N.
"Thank you" Y/N said as he took the hot cup in his hands.
"Now then.. Y/N i really need to speak with you about what you are gonna do after school" hearing that he sat the cup down on the table."Father asked you to talk about this hasn't he?" Grandmother nodded at his words making Y/N clench his hand around the cup he was holding.
His parents always ask him about it every night at dinner which had almost become a routine. He hoped to escape the question by coming to Grandma's house, but there really was no escaping to.
"I don't know" his lips trembled a bit as he answered, knowing that those words upset his Father a lot every time he said them.
"Oh dear.." Grandmother placed her old hand on Y/N's clenching hand, trying to calm him down a bit. "I know this question seems like a burden but you are 19 now, you have to make a decision."
"But i don't know!" Y/N almost snapped. "I know what i want to be but i don't want to disappoint my parents!".
Grandmother looked at Y/N as he let all his frustration out.
"And i know they always say to do something that makes me happy but i know they will disown me once i tell them!"Grangran interrupted Y/N before he completely snapped, "Dear, you can always tell me. Maybe i can talk it out with your parents". Those words did calm Y/N down and made him realize he was just yelling at his Grandmother.
He bowed his head "sorry grandmother". Grandma smiled and pat him on the head, "you don't have to apologize, you are just frustrated thats all" she straightened her back and looked Y/N into his eyes. "Now tell me, what is it you really want to do"
Y/N took a deep shacking breath "floweriest..." as he said that he looked down in embarrassment.
He then felt Grandma's hand stroke his shoulder "its really your favorite thing". Y/N didn't see it but he knew she was smiling.
"I'll go talk to your parents about it, after all they'll at least listen to their mother" Y/N looked back up at her, he was so grateful that he stood and made a full bow on the ground.
As he let his head touch the floor a tiny tear came rolling down his cheek, "thank you Grandmother".
