Once upon a time, there was a little (as in short) boy named Tyler Farquad. One day, Tyler was out walking and stumbled across an old cottage. I wonder, thought Tyler in his innocent little mind voice, what's in that old cottage. It looks okay enough. I should go explore! Tyler grinned at his idea and skipped up to the cottage door. He knocked (because his mother always said it was polite to knock before entering a house) and waited. He waited and waited and waited and waited until the door opened and there stood the most beautimus girl.
“Hello!” Said the girl in a sickly-sweet voice, “I'm Emily! And you are?”
“T-Tyler,” Answered a dumbfounded Tyler, slack-jawed at the girl's beauty.
“Hola, Tyler. Can I help you with something?” Asked Emily.
“Uhhh.... oh, um, no. Wait, no, yes! I uh.... no, yes. Yes!” Said Tyler, rubbing the back of his neck and staring at the cobblestone ground.
“You're very fickle, you know that?” Commented Emily with a smile, “Would you like some tea?”
*ten minutes later*
“So,” Said Emily, setting her mug on the table and taking a seat on the old couch in the living room of the cottage, “why did you come here, anyway?”
“I, uh, was out walking and saw your house.” Replied Tyler, mimicking Emily in her actions and sitting in the chair across from the couch.
“Oh, this isn't my house,” Corrected Emily, shaking her head, “It's my grandmother's. She's out shopping right now.”
“I see.” Said Tyler, taking a sip from his mug. “This is good tea.” Complimented Tyler. Emily grinned, the smile looking just a bit demonic.
“Thanks.”
“Er,” Said Tyler, albeit a bit awkwardly, “can I use your restroom?”
“Oh! Yeah, it's right in there.” Said Emily, pointing toward a door leading off into another room.
“Thanks.” Said Tyler gratefully and hurried off to the loo, where he did his business and rejoined Emily in the living room shortly thereafter. Emily seemed a bit anxious.
“Something wrong?” Asked Tyler, sitting back down in his chair.
“Nope! Nothing, nothing at all.” Answered Emily, her eyes wide and her body fidgeting. Tyler shrugged, picking up his mug. Emily watched intently as the porcelain cup made it's way to Tyler's mouth. He took a sip.
“So, do you live here now?” Asked Tyler, settling back into his chair.
*Later in the day*
“Bye! It was nice meeting you!” Called Emily as Tyler walked down the path leading from the cottage. Tyler waved.
“It was coll.” Said he. Emily gave him a confused look.
“Coll?” Tyler smiled.
“Nothing.” He said. Tyler stepped onto the side walk and began his journey back to his own house. He was crossing the street when a car came driving leisurely down the road, and hit him.
*Twenty minutes later*Twenty minutes later, Tyler Farquad died.
The end.
