Zach had surprisingly ended getting to Lola's coffee shop ten minutes early. He had gotten bombarded with questions from Reece,Shawn and Julian asking where he was going and if he was gonna get them food. Zach had spent five minutes trying to pry Shawn off his leg, after he said he wouldn't get them food, and Shawn being Shawn latched onto his leg claiming that he wouldn't let him leave till, he'd say he'd get them food.

Zach was nervously drumming his fingers on the wooden table he was sitting at, the table was pushed up near a window at the front of the shop, he didn't want her to walk in and miss him. His eyes scanning the familiar surroundings of the coffee shop. There were only about five other tables and one long counter that had several chairs pushed up to it, there was only three other people in the shop, an older couple and one college looking girl typing away at her laptop.

Zach didn't want to miss her walk in, so he forged looking at his phone. He didn't have to wait long cause five minutes later Charli d'amelio walked in. Her eyes quickly scanned the area and she smiled when she noticed him.

Zach noticed her and got up from his seat as Charli started walking over to him. "hi" she said shyly "hey" Zach responded and smiled at her, "you didn't order anything?" Charli asked "no, i just got here like five minutes ago. i wanted to wait." Zach answer

Charli nodded "good i was scared i kept you waiting long" she said "yeah, i was kinda scared i'd be late." Zach responded "how" charli quirked up an eyebrow at him, "my friends were bombarding me with questions, asking why i was leaving, and if i'd get them food. My friend Shawn even clung onto my leg, claiming he wouldn't let me go till, i'd say that i'd get them food." Zach explained

Charli let out a little laugh at the explanation, which cause Zach to smile at her "so how did you get him off?" She asked "my friend reece said she'd ordered pizza" Zach responded and Charli nodded "so you wanna go order?" Charli asked "yeah" Zach responded

Since there was no line, they order quickly, only having a short disagreement about who would pay, which Zach ultimately won. They go back to sit down with their drinks. "this is actually pretty good" Charli comments after her first sip, "better then Dunkin?" Zach asks, Charli gives him a questioning look as if to say 'how do you know about that' "Reece follows you and dixie." Zach explains, Charli nods in acknowledgment "no, but it's close"

"so how do you wanna do this, and what should be our story?" Zach asks "well we can't just come out and claim we're dating off the bat, that'll be suspicious. We only started interacting yesterday, so we can get seen out and like post stuff about or with each other and drop hints that we are 'dating' for like a month or two, basically like getting people to start shipping us together. then we'll come out and say we are dating, by that point Chase will start getting jealous and realize he wants me back, then we'll 'date' till Chase says he wants me back, we'll 'breakup' and i'll go back to dating Chase." Charli explained, Zach nodded "sounds good"

"our story can be that we....." Charli started only to stop talking. She looked around as a pout started to grace her features. "you have no idea do you?" Zach asked Charli shook her head, Zach let out a laugh before speaking "we can say we interacted a couple times on social media, and we just so happened to run into each other, at a coffee shop and......." Zach trailed off trying to think of the rest of the story

"we literally ran into each other, and you spilled your coffee on my shirt, i offered to buy you a new one and you wouldn't let me and we just started talking." Charli finished, "yeah that sounds good, kinda cliche but cute." Zach responded

"can i see your phone?" Zach asked, Charli tilted her head to side a-little bit, it remind Zach a-little of a confused puppy, which he thought was adorable. "so i can put my contact in" Zach clarified "oh, yeah, okay, but i need your phone so i can do the same" Charli handed him her phone and Zach did the same.

Zach put his contact in her phone, and took a picture of himself for the contact photo, and handed her phone back to her, and Charli did the same "was the emoji really necessary?" Charli asked, "yes it was" Zach responded a smirk gracing his features, he put the 🥵 emoji next to his name, "just so you know i'm changing your contact name to Charlie and the chocolate factory" Zach quipped after he took a sip off his iced coffee.

"what no, that's not fair" Charli pouted, Zach smiled at the reaction, "fine is good luck charli better?" Zach questioned "i- fine. then i get to change your name" Charli agreed, she scrunched her eyebrows as if she was thinking, and it looked incredibly adorable in Zach's opinion. But thinking that someone was cute didn't mean you had a crush on them. After all it was Charli D'amelio, everyone thought she was cute.

A smile spread across her face "what about Kangaroo?" Zach shook his head with a smile laugh "no" Charli pouted again, but a smile quickly graced her features "what about giraffe?" Zach lightly rolled his eyes but smiled anyway "haha, so original"

"it's not my fault you're freakishly tall" Charli smiled "and it's not my fault you're freakishly short" Zach responded "i'm taller then average, i'm 5'5" Charli whined "you're still short" Zach responded "you're like 6'3" Charli responded "6'4" Zach correct "see, that's even worse!" Charli whined, Zach laughed at the response.

"if you want we can start now." Zach said "what do you mean" Charli asked " Santa Monica's a ten minute drive from here, we can go out and get seen together, that'll start some rumors and we'll claim that we are just friends." Zach clarifies. Charli smiled "alright let's go."
