Gasping for breath, Kuroo suddenly woke up. He gasped for who knows how long while sweat was slowly falling from his forehead. 

'What kind of fucked up dream was that?!'

He asked himself while his palm ran through his sweaty forehead.  slowly he let his legs fall out of bed and took a deep breath. 

'should i look outside?'

He immediately dismissed the thought and gave himself a quick laugh. He got up and went to the bathroom to wash his face. When he did this and wanted to go back to bed, he suddenly heard his doorbell.

'What the hell? It's 3am'

He quickly grabbed his bat which was under his bed and ran quietly to his door. Carefully without being seen, he first looked out of the window to see who was ringing the bell. And when he saw kenma there he didn't know if he should be confused and angry.

Kuroo ran to the door in loud steps and opened it immediately.  in front of him, as he saw from the window, was Kenma. But when he looked at the younger one more closely,he could see something frightened about him.  Kuroo's anger quickly turned into confusion, and a little worry.

"Kenma?"

Kuroo asked gently, while looking at the boy in confusion. A few seconds later the pudding head raised his head and looked straight at the older boys eyes.

"I'm scared, Kuroo"

Scared? Of what ? And why did he came to Kuroo with something like that, didn't he have parents? They don't even know each other properly.

'What are you afraid of?'

He decided to ask anyways.

'I- i cant tell you. But, would you stay a little bit here? Outside m- your house?'

The younger one asked with a tiny voice.

'If I do will you go and finally let me sleep?'

Asked the black-haired boy Kenma, who answered with a hasty nod. The older one sighed and then sat down with Kenma at his front door. They sat quietly and Kuroo took the time to take a closer look at Kenma. He really couldn't deny it. The younger one was really pretty. But when he felt the other's eyes on him he turned questioningly to Kuroo who just turned away with a small red glow on his cheeks.
