Safe. Damien's PoV

Aaron comes into my hose with the key I gave him, in tears. He has bruises all over his face and arms. I run over to him. "Baby, what happened? Oh, and look at these bruises..." I fuss over him while he continues to cry. Once he has regained composure, I ask him again. "Aaron, baby, you have to tell me what happened." I call Aaron baby a lot, mainly because it makes him smile most of the time. "My parents... I decided I wanted them to meet you, so I had to say I was gay first, obviously, so I did.. and they did this," He gestures to his arms. "I know you love being the savior, but how can you fix this?" I contemplate my options on what I could do. "My mom already loves you, maybe you could move in with us?" He smiles. "That would be nice..." I nod. He was so pure and innocent and perfect, and he was all mine.

"Damiennnnn, can I have snuggles?" Aaron walks over to me and starts acting all sad, pushing his bottom lip, knitting his eyebrows together, and crossing his arms. "You didn't have to do all that, I would cuddle you any day, any time, anywhere." He smiles his oh-so-perfect bright white smile. "So, how are you liking living with me?" I ask, mainly because we had only just got his stuff put away. "I mean, more snuggles and more you, so I'm happy." I grin. He was so perfect and just- agh. Pure perfection, this man is. "Just so you know, you are safe here. No one can hurt you, and if they do they are dead to me," He frowns. "Damien, I love you. So much. And this is like, the first time I have felt truly safe in years. Thank you for doing this." My heart just goes numb, right there, right then.  "I love you too."
