Katie POV
Hi my name is Katie Avery and I am 12 years old. I live in Los Angeles California and I live in the All-Girls Orphanage. I have been living here since I was 6 years old. My mom passed away during a car accident and my dad used to be abusive to me when I was younger after my mom passed away. He thinks it was my fault that my mother passed away but it's not. His always coming home drunk every night and telling me to do something for him and if I don't do it he will beat me up. If you wanna know anything about me I am a shy person, and I love to listen to music.
Today is adoption day meaning there will be couples or families wants to adopt one of us. I never get adopted because someone wants someone who is younger or older than me. I am in my room listening to music on my laptop. I have been listening to Jonas Brothers recently and my favorite brother is Nick. Nick is sweet, handsome, and he is cute. I love his wife Priyanka too. I saw one interview they did together and they are good couple. What if one day they both come here and adopt one of us? That would be so cool. I love the Jonas Brothers new album Happnies Begins is so good and my favorite song is Only Human. While I was listening to my music through my headphones someone was knocking on my door. I told the person to come in and saw that is Ms. Kelly who is the owner of this orphanage.
"Katie. What are you doing?" Ms. Kelly asked
"Nothing much. I am just listening to music" I said
"Oh. There's people wants to see you" she said
She opened the door wider and I saw that it's Nick and Priyanka. What the heck?
Nick POV
Priyanka and I just arrived at the All-Girls Orphanage in LA and adopting a little girl. We wanted to have a kid for a long time but we can't do it because both of our careers took off now we wanted to adopt a kid. We were thinking around the age of 10-12 years old. We think that's a good range. As we went inside the orphanage we saw a girl who is around her 20's and sitting behind the front desk. We went up to her and she talked to us.
"Hello welcome to the All-Girls Orphanage. How may I help you?" she asked us
"Yes we are looking for girls between 10-12 years old" Priyanka said
"Alright. Will you can come with me we will see them? While we walk you could look at these folders while we see these girls." she said
"Alright thank you" I said
The girl handded us some folders to look through while we looking at these girls. While we were looking they weren't the right ones. After a little while we came to the second last door and I read her folder before we went in.

I read the folder and showed it to Priyanka. I can't believe Katie got abused. None of the girls we saw before haven't got abused before. Ms. Kelly knocked her door and Katie said it's open. Kelly opened the door and talked to Katie and then she open the door wider to let us see Katie. When Katie first saw us she was in shocked and she had smile on her face which I loved. Ms. Kelly left us to be alone with her and talk to her.
"Hello Katie. How are you?" I asked
"I am good. How are you?" she asked
"I am really good. Thanks for asking. What do you like to do?" I asked as I looked at Priyanka and she gave me a smile
