The rain was heavy, and it was dark. "You can't kill me! Coward!" Messicea yelled in an attempt to be heard over the rain. Kelly pinned him to the ground, looking angrily and deeply into his eyes. "You've never been able to kill me! All you ever do is take me in, and guess what? I just keep getting out and then the EDF sends their favorite dog out to get me again." Kelly didn't respond. Messicea was able to roll over, switching the scenario. Messicea now pinning Kelly down. "I'm always one step ahead of you, Kelly." Kelly hit Messicea in the chin with his knee, causing Messicea to lose grip and fall over. Kelly slowly stood up and yanked Messicea up by his shirt. Kelly slammed Messicea into the side of the lighthouse, and hit him in the face, causing Messiceas already bloody nose to look a lot more broken. "Coward!" Messicea yelled. Kelly was about to hit him in the face, when he stopped. He let go of Messicea, and took a step back. Messicea had a look of shock on his face, but he wasn't there long enough for Kelly to see it. Messicea ran off right away, leaving Kelly in the rain.

Kelly sat in the recon room, he was dripping wet, and had an empty expression. "You just let him go?" Perapin said, crossing his arms. Kelly nodded slowly, not looking up at him. "Do you have any idea how stupid that was? I know you guys are hard for eachother but you've taken it too far." Party said slowly. "I want him back as much as you do, but there's not a damn thing we can do!" Party stood up, slamming his fists against the table. Jack sat next to Party, looking down with his arms crossed. "Kelly. I usually respect your decisions. I know you care about him, but our orders come first." Jack said under his breath. Iron chirped in, hoping to lighten the mood. "I'm sure Kelly has a perfectly reasonable reason.. Kelly always has a plan." Party walked over to Kelly, turning the chair around and angrily grabbing him by the shirt, yanking him close. "Idiot! It's your fault he's like this anyway!" Kelly didn't respond, he just looked down. Party pushed Kelly back into his chair, and stormed out of the room. "Party-" Perapin tried to stop Party, but it wasn't much use. Perapin looked back at Kelly, and sighed. "Jack go ahead and take Kelly home. We'll discuss this further tomorrow. Jack nodded, standing up. Kelly stood up as well, and the two of them walked out of the room. As Kelly and Jack waited for the elevator to reach the top, Jack turned to Kelly. "Kelly, I still have full trust that you did the right thing. But you better have a damn good excuse." Kelly didn't respond. As the elevator reached the top and the doors open, the two of them stepped out. The sound of rain hitting the building above was loud.

The two of them sat in the dark care, the gentle light of the streetlights illuminating their faces. The car ride up the mountain to Kellys house was a quiet one. Nothing was said between the two of them, just the gentle music from the radio. Jack pulled up to the house, and parked the car. He got out, and opened the door for Kelly. Kelly stepped out, and just walked inside. "Good- oh. Well." Jack waved, and drove away. Kelly walked inside, flipping the lights on. "Damn, what took you so long?" The voice of Messicea said. Kelly looked up to see Messicea sitting in his favorite chair, with the fireplace burning. "Why are you here." Kelly said, multiple emotions flashing across his face. Messicea crossed his legs, and looked to the side. "Relax, i'm not here to do anything bad. I need to give you something." Messicea stood up, and walked to Kelly. He took something out of his pocket, and handed it to Kelly. He then shoved his hands in his pockets, and left. Kelly turned to try and stop him, but he was already gone. Kelly looked down to see what Messicea had given him. It was a USB stick. Kelly quickly ran to his computer, almost falling out of the chair as he sat down. He put the stick in his computer, and opened the file. It was a picture of a machine. A large room with a large metal circle, with messy wires going into it. At the bottom of the screen, was a message in comic sans. "Find this." Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. Kelly jumped, turning the computer off. Kelly opened the door to find a worried looking Perapin. "Can I come in?" Kelly nodded, and stepped aside to let him in. Perapin sat on the sofa, resting his long black cane next to him. "I know Messicea is your friend. But this isn't the same Messicea. He's dangerous, and I don't want you getting hurt because you put you trust into him." Perapin says, looking up at Kelly. "People don't just change like that." Kelly responds, speaking for the first time. Perapin nods slowly. "I believe you. But it's not something that we can risk Kelly." Perapin stood back up, facing Kelly. "I forbid you to look for Messicea." He says sternly. Kelly looked baffled. "What? You're just going to forbid from looking from him? You know I can't do that Perapin." Perapin nods. "I know Kelly." And with that, Perapin leaves. Kelly angrily kicks the coffee table in front of him, breaking the leg and causing the picture the was on it to fall on his foot. Kellys expression quickly changed as he hurried to pick up the picture. The picture was of him, Perapin, Hellblade, and Jay all standing in the Pizza Parlor. Kelly looked at it for a moment, then sighed, placing it on top of the fireplace. He put the fire out, and slumped on the sofa, passing out within seconds.
