"Alright that's all class, I would like for you all to finish the chapter up for homework," Sensei says while he sets the small book down into his desk. "Please make sure to complete all worksheets by next week," he says with a sigh. Akutagawa looks down at his book with a bored look, he didn't hate reading but doing it in class was one of the most boring things he has ever done at school.
Many students put their things away and begin to talk with each other. Sensei was one of the nicest teachers at
Akutagawa's school, he almost never gave out too much work. He was more than happy about that. Akutagawa continues to read, if he finished that chapter now it would give him one last thing to do for the night.
After a few minutes the bell finally rings.
Akutagawa puts his notebook and various other things that he had out into his school bag. It had been a long day and he was more than ready to lay down.
He had always hated taking notes, his handwriting was okay but at times when he was forced to write fast he just could not read his own writing.
School had always felt like an endless prison to Akutagawa.
He thinks it's because of the food but it also could be being trapped in a place for more than six hours a day.
The only other place that Akutagawa would go to was his house, other than spending all of his time at school.
Akutagawa never even bothered to make friends, he found that to be too difficult.
Gin had always told him that he needed to be more open to making friends and as soon as highschool was over he would have a lot of trouble finding friends.
He never paid much attention to her words, he knew he couldn't make friends so why would he care once he was out of school?
Akutagawa had always thought he would end up alone, which is so far coming true.
Akutagawa shakes his head as he continues his way down the hallway. Fitting in was hard for Akutagawa, he was far from being popular and wasn't a nerd nor a loser, he was kind of just there.
With a sigh, Akutagawa moves his school bag from his left shoulder to his right.
He really needed to clean out his school bag, it was far too heavy to carry around all the time.
The walk back to his house was short, he spent most of the time looking around the forest that he lived close to.
As soon as Akutagawa got hom e he went straight into his room. He had school work that he still needed to finish, so as soon as he got to his room he took everything out of his school bag that he needed. Most of the work that needed to be completed by next week was three short paragraphs for english and a few worksheets for algebra.
It takes Akutagawa around two hours to fully finish all of his school work. As soon as Akutagawa finishes all of his work he goes into his bathroom to take a quick shower. Before going he made sure to grab some clothes. Once in the shower he lets the water run down his back, letting out a sigh in relief as he feels his body relax into the warmth.
Akutagawa squirts some shampoo in his hand and rubs it throughout his short black hair. After he finishes washing his hair he scrubs his body, making sure to wash away all the oil and dirt. Once he washes away all of the suds he steps out of the shower with a shiver. He grabs the towel that he had set out for himself and drys his body in front of the mirror in his bathroom.
Akutagawa glared at himself in the mirror, he had always been skinny, almost sickly. He's always struggled with eating, he knew he had to eat it in order to survive but it always made him feel guilty after doing so.
